Galaxy edge from monorail

we usually do a rope drop but from the grand it may be closer to grab the monorail. How far is it from monorail in the park to ROTR?

You'll be going through Tomorrowland and fantasyland to get to galaxy's edge.

the monorail generally doesn't start until the park opens, so it would not be a good choice if you intend to rope drop, especially for Galaxy's edge, which is not close to the monorail stop.

I don't think the train will be running that early either but I went Friday and did train to New Orleans, past mansion and splash right up to Rise.

From the GCH, it’s much closer, easier and faster to just walk to the park entrance than to backtrack through DTD to the monorail station.

I ride it every times I’m there and it’s operating. I love it and wish they’d expand service around DLR. I’d love to hop in at the Tomorrowland station and get dropped off somewhere in DCA. It would be cool if it stopped at a hotel or two.

I make a point at WDW to ride it as often as I can. I love how it goes through Epcot before dropping off at the station. You get a Birds Eye view of the going’s on and it brings this excitement. I even wish they’d expand it there. It could be such a fantastic form of transport even more than it already is but you know, money is allocated elsewhere.
