Here I go...giving myself another pat on the back. DH ordered Domino's for dinner. Ahh..so tempting...instead I made a can of tuna fish and ate half on a plate...by itself...no bread. I avoided the pizza :Pinkbounc

Way to go avoiding the pizza. That is something I just can't do so I limit myself to 1 slice (used to eat 3 or 4). DH and kids have had McDonalds and I ate something else. It is VERY hard to do and you should be so proud of yourself. Have a great weekend.
 
gail--thats so awesome that you made good choices at Applebees and pizza--those are my 2 downfalls!! haha...
 

Way to go. I know better then to let Pizza in the house. LOL!
 
Boy...I've been catching up on journals today and almost forgot to post in my own. I finally got to get on the scale today and there was no change. But that is fine since I hit curves 4 times this week. I know I've been eating well..so I'm really fine with it.

Gonna sit back and enjoy the snowstorm the east coast is being hit with!

Gail, your attitude is AWSOME!!!! Congrats on waiting on the scale and then being fine with it. You know you did well and the scale will show it soon.

Thanks you guys! Well...after I took an afternoon nap(what else was there to do...besides eat...so I took a nap to be safe!) Anyway..since this is a freebie for the scale...I got on again...and it said 217.5!!! So, that's down 1.5 lbs from this morning! How weird...so..since today is officially my weigh day...I'm claiming that 1.5 lbs for the week. I had thought about saving it for next week...but then didn't want to get comfortable knowing I had that 1.5 cushion...know what I mean? Then, it would make my loss look like more and I didn't want to do that either...so I'm off to tickerfactory to change my ticker!

We're gonna watch a movie...I have to find something not too bad to munch on while they are eating popcorn. PMS is right around the corner since TOM should be here before the end of the week. Hope I can keep this positive attitude during that time. Kick me in the butt if not! :blush:

Well...now I have to avoid the scale for another week...but I might want to avoid it next week anyway..hey maybe I should've saved those 1.5lbs for next week since I will probably be retaining water...No..it's not the right thing to do. :rolleyes:

Hi Gail... Congratulations on the 1.5 loss, that's awesome!!!! I don't blame you for taking it now instead of waiting... I would do the same thing :rolleyes: I hope you survived the movie without too much munching. There is a 94% ff popcorn that is great. I'm not a huge popcorn fan, but having it be only 2 points for the whole bag, makes it alittle easier to swallow (get it? :earboy2: ). Enjoy your evening
 
Just updating for today...not much though. I did get in 30 minutes on the Gazelle. Food has been good! I'm into my 4th week back on plan!! Slowly by surely :Pinkbounc
 
I forgot to mention that I made it through watching the movies Saturday night without a problem. I had a 100 calorie pack, half a cucumber w/ vinegar, a handful of tootsie rolls and 1 mini peppermint patty.(wow...that seems like a lot when I write it down...but it was better than shoving my face with popcorn...and we watched 2 movies)

Yesterday we went grocery shopping and DH wanted to try the Lay's Lights potato chips. So, while watching the football game he breaks out the bag to try them. I ate 5 chips(a serving is 20 and 75 cals) I was able to stop...but then it was like something triggered and I could feel myself wanting to munch. I really hate this PMS stuff. Recognizing this...I did the safest thing and decided to take a nap. I wasn't tired, but I felt this was for the best. I already had dinner in a crock pot...so I knew that shortly after getting up I would be eating dinner. I feel like such a wimp. Then, of course, I have a hard time sleeping last night. Mainly because I start thinking. One thing I thought about was if I was really cold and weighed myself..would I weigh more? I was thinking about Sundie's pics from the blizzard and the fact that she was out there shoveling...and wondered if you weighed yourself before warming up would there be a difference? So, then that prompted me to think about things like water and even ground beef. I'm no scientist, and simple things make me wonder sometime! Ahhhh...see what happens when I don't spend my time eating!! :rolleyes: Sorry to waste your time if you read that.

Well, I'm going to hit Curves here soon and then put in some more time on the Gazelle.
 
Hi Gail - I think taking a nap was a great idea, better than polishing off a bag of chips. :D Good for you for not snacking on too much while watching movies Saturday night. I hope you have a great time at Curves.

Hope you had a good workout at curves yesterday! I went to curves for a few months and it is a really quick not to difficult workout that gets ur heartbeat up!

Well, today is another day. Nothing real exciting. Went to Curves yesterday and then did 30 minutes on my gazelle. Today went to curves for 45 minutes. This is the boring part of the whole "diet" thing. I'm in a routine/zone. I know that I can do this while I'm in this zone. I just keep hoping that no major life disaster happens anytime soon. It's almost like I hate to mention that things are smooth sailing right now...but I did say it :blush: I guess saying it doesn't mean it will happen.

Tomorrow is mine and DH 15 year anniversary. Nothing special planned...it's a bowling night....and since Friday is DS 13th bday...we're just going out for dinner on Saturday. Both at the same time.
