GAD Voucher to Park Hopper to AP - Need confirmation!

Hmmm....I thought for sure that I read that, once I am admitted, even though I upgraded to a DAP on a blackout day, that I could come and go throughout that day. I have no idea where I read that; I'll have to do some more research.

If the case is that I cannot come and go on the blackout day, does anyone know how late the "office" is open where I need to upgrade to my DAP?

Double check, DL CM are notorious for giving wrong information. I'd just hate to see you "locked" out.

AP Processing center is usually open until closing - I've been in line at 15 minutes before closing. You can ask guest relations at either your resort or at the park to confirm.

I always heard here that you DID get a "grace" day if you upgraded on a blockout day--so you could get in and out with no problems on the upgrade day. I didn't experience it personally but that was my understanding. You could always call Disneyland and ask.

We will be exchanging our GAD vouchers for a 5 day PH and then upgrading to an AP(we want to use MM also). My question is will we be able to head over to the ticket booth Sunday evening when we arrive and make the exchange even if we don't plan on entering the parks until Monday? I know if you are using your GAD voucher for a one day ticket you have to redeem it the same day you are going into the parks, but I was wondering if the same is true if you are upgrading to a PH?

Wow you guys are crafty. I thought I was smart by upgrading the GAD voucher to a park hopper.

We actually weren't going to upgrade to AP's, we were just going to do 5 day PH's. So we had our days planned out, including what day we were going to do MM. But when I found out we have to pay ticket booth prices to use our vouchers and the 5 day PH is $249 and the AP is $299, I realized it would be silly not to upgrade to an AP, but I didn't want to loose out on our MM.

No sales tax on tickets for DLR.

Has anyone use GAD voucher to upgrade to a Premier when they were already a WDW AP holder? I'm wondering if it will work. If not I will just use my GAD voucher for fastpasses. Thanks!
