I am trying to figure this all out and I hope someone can help. Here is our plans:
We are going to Disney in June staying on our DVC points with quick service dinning plan.
We have 5 family members participating in the GAD promotion (me48, dh49, dd15, dd8, and dd6).

I am trying to figure what our tickets will cost if we upgrade to 8 day park hoppers or if we decide to upgrade to DVC annual pass.

I think I have figured 8 day hoppers will cost $1346 or DVC annual pass will be $1974. (3 adults and 2 children).

How much will the GAD tickets credit towards these amounts? And will we be able to upgrade our tickets if we have the DVC quick service dinning?

Thanks, Tracy

I believe the credit amount is about $79..at least that's what I figure with.
What you do for tickets should have no impact whatsoever on your choice of dining plan..not if you're staying on points. I know the DVC AP is $414, so with the GAD voucher, that cost would go down to $335 for each adult.

Correct. It's the value of a one day base ticket (before tax) which is currently $79 for adults. If you happen to go later in the year and if ticket prices increase before then, then the value will increase accordingly.

Be careful when mixing amounts that include and don't include tax.

The Adult 1-day ticket base price without tax is $79. The DVC AP is $389. So the upgrade cost would be difference between the two ($310) plus tax on the difference (you don't pay tax on the original cost), so the adult DVC AP upgrade cost with tax would be $330.15. Similarly the cost for the child DVC AP would be $293.94. For the OP, the total for DVC APs should be $1,578.33.

For 8-day PH, the upgrade costs should be $223.65 and 200.22, for a total of $1,071.39 if i did my math right.

Since the meal plans via DVC are independent of tickets, it has no bearing on the costs.

The value of the GAD tickets are equal to the value of a one day one park ticket. I notice that two of the people listed are under age 10, so their tickets will be with $68 each toward the upgrade to a higher level child ticket.
