Hi Everyone.
We are three days away from our second Nana WDW Trip. We went last year with my mom (Nana) so that my DD would have those memories since Nana has multiple medical issues and had just finished her chemo. (Honestly I did not expect my mom to still be here)

Nana wanted to go back. Please do not get me wrong, she is tough as nails but her body is failing her and wants this trip to happen even if she does not return home, so I want to make it the best possible. So here are again. Last year Nana used a wheelchair and no GAC. She did great! We stayed at CBR in a handicapped room. And, I listed on all of our ADR's Wheelchair accessible and Soy Allergy [She can not eat soy bc it interferes with her Coumadin]. On the rides that she could not ride, I either put her in a gift shop or if there was a long wait, we would used the ride swap and take turns sitting with her.

I plan on doing everything the same...Should I get a GAC for her? Her health has deteriorated and can not walk without a walker, but I am forcing her to be in a wheelchair bc the last thing we need is a banged up Nana from a fall.

Also, any tips?
And, we are renting a wheelchair from Apple. Any problems? Anyone happy with them??

TIA!

Since she will be in a wheelchair she does not need a GAC.

For that you would need a GAC. Most queues are inside/shaded. But there will be the occassional one that isn't (most of these are when rides use their extended queue)

Thanks :). I will get a GAC for her and request alternate waiting area when possible.
