FYI, New pin code worked for ASM Family Suites !

you posted takes me to the same page as the first link I tried. It just goes to Disney's regular page for booking a package. There is nowhere to put the PIN number or may name and all that.

Hmmm, thats wierd, they worked for me at first, but now they dont. Might have something to do with cookies.

it still goes to the same page. Oh well, I guess I will just have to call. I always hate calling. It takes so long to get through the automated system, the I like o get quotes for several resorts. And I never book until I talk with DH and we decide together which resort and package to book. Then I have to call back to book it, or worse, DH asks about a resort that I didn't get quoted,which means the automated system again! I would love to be able to get quotes with my PIN online. That would mean one less call.

How many are in your family (3 or 4)?
If its 4, I am not sure that you will do much better than your quote. The park tickets are roughly $1000. for a falily of 4, plus a nice moderate hotel, and a meal plan for $2100. is pretty good. Just for the simple fact that its the kids first time, I would try to stay on site if possible. The difference in price is not all that much, as you got a pretty good deal. We have done both and they each have their benifits. The cheapest place we have ever stayed off site was a 3 bdrm condo for approx $500. for the week. You would have more room off site, but there is nothing quite like staying right on Disney property for the kids!
Also if you stay on site, you wont need to rent a car at all, saving a few hundred at least. Just hop on the Disney magic express to/from the airport to Port Orleans for Free. Then use Disney transportation for everything in between. Its nice not to have to worry about a car and parking. Parking fees apply if you stay off site as well.... I think its $12. per day now. Another Almost $100.

well we couldn't resist staying on property, so we cancelled our offsite hotel and will be using the pin code at the Ft Wilderness cabins. so excited!
