FYI...National's product rate code: WWEB

WWEB is National's code for their week long rental special. The current dates are 8/22-11/22.

BUT, I tried that product rate code for my dates of 8/11-18 and it priced a base rate of 185 for an intermediate. Toss in the Priceless code or any other contract ID, plus a 20 off coupon from the entertainment book and the total cost is around 194 with taxes..... not too bad, especially with the high rates that are out there right now....

Thanks for posting this !! I hadn't tried that code for my sister because of the dates - she's renting 8/14-29 for 16 days. Earlier today her rate had come down from 594.- to 567.-

Adding the WWEB brought it down to $510.21 !! (full size) - it did add the concession fee back in even with priceless, but still much lower!

Every little bit helps because she has to pay the additional young driver fees for my 21 yo nephew - she cannot do all the driving herself. Thanks again !!!

Still does nothing for me!

I'm going August 21 - August 27 and the best I can do (since I booked in January) is $184.10 total for EA Intermediate.

When I plug in the WWEB or try the Priceless code, it shoots up. When I take it out and use the Carlson code, I get the above rate.

I have a strong feeling that is what I'll be paying, unfortunately.

I also tried the code for a mini-van for Aug. 12-18 and couldn't get it to work.

I called to try to get a better rate and got $310 last night. An hour later, I called back to check again and it was at $472. She said, "Well the rates do change." Kind of a big jump, don't you think??

If you're not opposed to off-airport rentals, I got a 10 day minivan rental starting August 8th through Thrifty for $345 including tax, etc. Use the "AU02" code if you're interested.
