FYI...Freq Flyer Miles and HRH

After a conversation with HRH about my trip, I was told that even though i booked thru AA and because the room was at a discounted rate, i would not be entitled to any freq flyer miles, but i could get my loews perk...it really didn't matter in this case, but I thought I would pass on the info, 'cause loews do advertise frequent flyer miles.

I've found that most of the hotel programs don't credit discount rooms. The Hyatt would not credit us once because we booked a pre-paid "package" with a travel agent.

These programs are very confusing at times... When I stayed at the Hyatt through a pre-packaged vacation, and I got my miles and Hyatt passport perks...If's almost as if it depends on which way the wind is blowin' as to what you may be entitled too!
