FYI Boston People, Song...

We are in row 11, d, e, and f seats. Does this mean we'll be boarding and getting off first?

The 757-200 which will be used by Song has 3 doors (not including emergency exits) on the left side of the plane. Door #1 is located at the front of the plane, behind the cockpit and forward of the passenger cabin. Door #2 is located several rows back and has generally been the cutoff point between 1st and Economy class. While Door # 2 is generally used for boarding purposes, it is not always the case. It is quite possible to use Door #1 and many a times, I have boarded and deplaned that way. I believe Door # 2 was used because it was a nice cut off point between 1st and Economy class. That way, 1st class could be boarded and attended to and there not need be any worry about all us economy folks passing through to interfere with their pre-takeoff beverages! Since Song will have only one class of service, I have no idea what door will be used and nor do I really care! No offense is meant by that statement but heck, aren't we on vacation? Is 5 minutes really going to make all the difference. Sit back, relax and enjoy the experience. It's not like we are cueing up for Southwest where every seat is a free for all!

By the way, Boeing's 757-300, an extended version of the 200 model is one cool looking airplane. I'd like to see Song add a few of these to their fleet!
