Hello all,
I have a family of 6...me, DH, and DS's 11,9,5,&5. I've snagged a AP rate for 6 nights durinig Memorial day week in a cabin at the Fort that will be $369 MORE than a 2 bedroom unit at Bonnet Creek for 7 nights. I've never stayed in the cabins but have been wanting to try it. I can't decide if the space would be worth being "off-site." Help me! Where should we stay?

Its is so nice after a long day, are when you close the parks down that all you have to do is wait for a bus! Its quick and easy to come back mid day take in the campground then go back after the heat of the day and enjoy the parks and not have to drive. Staying on the ground is well worth the difference. Besides the campgroung/cabins there is so much for the family to have fun with just relax! If you can swing the differnce go for it!!
Hope you go for it you won't regret it!

You would probably have more activities for the kids at FW. You would have the Campfire and movies and you can ride the boats to MK or over to the CR for Micky's dinner or the boat to WL for Whispering canyon dinner. If its the Bonnet Creek thats right around the corner from FW then you are really close to everything if you have a car.

Thanks so much for your help so far! Yes, it's the Bonnet Creek that is nearby. I've never stayed at either. That's why I need help. We've been to FW for Hoop de Doo and to eat breakfast at Trails End. I've always wanted to stay there. I'm a little worried about the restaurant at Bonnet Creek, but my guys love to swim, and their pool and lazy river look nice. We will definitely do at least one Water Park (maybe 2), so we could probably get by with the pools at the Fort.
Any other points that could sway my decision?

Well if you want to use the extra magic hours at the parks or waterparks, you need to be on-site.......
