I just have to tell someone....so I was at target the other day looking at the clothes I have been looking for a comfy sun dress to take on our trip in April...I do not wear alot of dresses and almost everything was strechy and kinda tight (un flattering) but I saw the cutest dress it looks like a long button up shirt and it ties in the back, cotton no spandex, real pretty has flowers all over it...anyway...its MATERNETY(sp) lol I am not pregnant nor will I ever be again so I grab the XS and head to the dressing room annnnnnd I LOVED it! with the tie in the back and the small size it does not look like maternety at all... hahaha :lmao: so I got it...yep I got a preggo dress:rotfl: It is so comfy and light.I will be sporting a preggo dress at wdw...hey at least I will have room to eat !

I think the styles now are so much nicer for preggers then they were in the 70' 80' or 90's when I had my pregnancies, althought the 1995 one was much better for pants....

I hit a clearance rack and saw a nice black skirt, elestic waist, good comfort and fit in 2 size smaller....when I got home I found out it was a pregger skirt. But I cut the lable out to avoid harassing comments form dh.

ROFL Now thats a typical man....better than giving you trouble though LOL

LOL...I wore my maternity yoga pants for a few years after ds was born. They were SO comfy and so stretchy that they fit fine even after the birth. I cried when they finally sported a hole I couldn't fix!

Glad you found a dress you liked! :thumbsup2

I used to wear maternity top[s in the 70's when that look was in. The tight bodice and the full blouse look, like the hippies of the 70's.
Then I got pregnant and couldn't wait to wear fitted clothes again. lol
The only problem with wearing maternity was that the top is cut longer in the front to make room for the stretched belly so you might want to check it and maybe hem the front a bit so it isn't hanging down longer in the front.
But wow, a X Sm at Target. Their clothes are cut small to begin with.

I always thought Target's clothes were cut a little big. I know I feel like I'm, um, swimming in their bathing suit tops.

I've definitely bought a maternity dress at Target, too!! It was soooo cute that I just had to have it. :rotfl:

yeh the front is just a tad longer...I dont think it is even enough to really notice and not enough to do anything about. The xs at target in maternety is not that small...maybe if you are pregnant it might be snug lol I am not super tiny (before my dd4 I was a 00) I wear between 2-4 in gap or old navy sizes.I dont think I will ever be as small as I was before my last child again and to be honest I dont know if I would want to...it was kinda a pain to find clothes that looked nice, now I just want to be in shape somewhat:goodvibes. This may TMI but I kinda wish my top was small again! I hate all this up top (if ya know what I mean) I have now!;)

Hey, whatever works!! That's great! Haha!:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2

I don't think I could ever put on another maternity item as long as I live, no matter how cute it was. That's just my bizzarro mind at work.;)

oh I LOVED being pregnant:rotfl: I even liked the clothes...I just felt more pretty and happy...I gained about 25 pounds each time so I didnt feel huge and weighed down until the very end.I still have a pair of the jeans that I wear with my big sweaters because you can not tell they are preggo jeans...I know I must be weird;)

I never wear it anymore but I bought maternity pantyhose well after my pregnant years! It was so great not having to wrestle my way into it. :)
I've bought a few clothing items too. It's not really designed to look different anymore anyway.

I love the maternity line at Target. Those clothes are adorable and when I walk by that section I always think... that's so cute, why is it maternity!? lol

Good for you for wearing an xs!! I wish!

Good for you finding a cute dress that you like!

When I was in high school my DMom went bra shopping. When she came home she told me that she found the most comfortable bra ever - when she showed it to me I realized that is was a nursing bra! :rotfl: She had no idea. I still laugh about that!

I did that once - totally by accident!
I was in jr high (and a size 8 - sigh) back in the mid-80's and saw the most wonderful oversized striped shirt (you know the one you would wear open with a shell, leggings, a couple of pairs of slouch socks, and big white tennis shoes);) It was at O'Neil's Department Store - how I miss O'Neil's! Back when big department stores had bargain basements, there I was pawing through stuff to look for good finds.
So I enjoyed wearing it for several years and didn't find out until much later that the company that made the shirt only makes maternity clothes :rolleyes1 :lmao:

I am reading this and thinking, she probably will get pregnant on her trip now. Now that would be a story to tell......

awwww I WISH ! but after dd4 my dh did the big V :( we have wished over and over that we didnt do it now... I would LOVE one more baby:sad1: I am 33 so I think I could have done it again.I would also be willing to adopt,I do wish it was not so pricey to get reversed or to AI ...they said they could do it that way but insurance does not pay and it is waaay out of our price range.
It is a nice thought though, this trip is our late late late honeymoon/annv. trip! We did not have a honeymoon because we chose to build our house and the POLY is where he asked me to marry him years ago when we could not afford to even stay there:love:.
