I saw an interview that Jon Bon Jovi did with Larry King, and he was asked if any of his hit songs surprised him. Jon admitted that at the time they recorded it, he thought Livin' on a Prayer was an OK song but nothing all that special. He was pretty shocked when it turned into a monster hit!

He also revealed that his name really is Jon Bon Jovi, but the actual spelling is Bongiovi.
