I actually have a pic of the snow up to our apartment door (in Chicago '78) that at least went to the top of the 2nd tier of beer. My DH, at the time, would have loved this pic better than the all snow pic I got.

I had customers do that for me on occasion when I worked at Macy's. We always had Godiva chocolate bars at the registers that we'd suggest to customers who were just a little short of being able to use a coupon.
