Funny Christmas requests

I SOOOOOOOOOOOO used my built up Amazon reward points to get DH some footie PJs(not the "Forever Lazy" kind....they have dinos on them and a back flap.......

My mom goes to auctions a lot....One year a head shop went out of business and I swear she gave me the whole lot...I had THOUSANDS of incense sticks and some cute clothes...but the all smelled "funny":lmao:...I was into that style then so it was ok with me.

:lmao: Are these for this Christmas or for a past gift?

I think we need pictures of him tailgating in them. :rotfl:

My SIL always got my hubby new boxers for Christmas. The year we got married, she told him she wasn't going to get him boxers anymore, that it was my job now. So instead, she got him tacky lights shaped like boxer shorts! He loved them! It wasn't a request, but it ended up being a really great gift. Every year, he asks for home made Chex Mix from my mom. It's his favorite, so she makes him an entire batch each year that he doesn't have to share.

This year and last year I've been asking for a waffle iron. :upsidedow Last year I wanted one shaped like a Mickey (the basic 3-circle Mickey) but no luck in finding one, so this year I've reduced it to a regular, plain ol' waffle iron.

The only reason this is weird is because I'm a 13 year old girl, lol.

Yes. Both of my DDs have funny requests. My DD11 wants the largest bottle of A-1 and my DD14 wants a lg jar of pickles. They ask, and get, these things every year (Christmas and birthday). It started as a joke when DD11 would get scolded for using a whole bottle of A-1 for 1 meal and DD14 wanted to drink the pickle juice from the jar. I told them if they bought it themselves they could do whatever they wanted with it so they both asked for it for Christmas. When they received it you would have thought I gave them a trip to WDW.

You can get these at Meijer tomorrow for under $30 - the Mickey looks like the ones you get at breakfast in WDW. You can also try Amazon or Kohls.

Last night at JC Penney, I showed my DH and DS13 something called a Cuddley Critter. They're little stuffed animals that have a removeable pouch inside. You microwave the pouch to heat it up, then put it back inside the animal. It looks nice for warming up your hands when you come in, or snuggling when you first get into bed. I told them I wanted the bunny one (naturally). They both laughed at me. I think that means they already bought me one!!!!:)

My mother wants this.... https://www.orderforeverlazy.com/

Seriously.

ROTFL!!!! My kids showed me that commercial on YouTube and I thought it was a joke, like a SNL skit! LOL!!

There must be something to that - my DD13 wants a waffle iron too! Only she didn't ask for a Mickey one, she wants one like they have in hotels, at the breakfast buffet, the kind that you rotate -lol.

(and yeah, she's getting one :lmao:)

My funny story is when DD13 was 4, she asked the mall Santa for a purple snake. The expression on that man's face was priceless. :rotfl:

She had seen a large plush purple snake in Costco, and that's what she was talking about. I reassured Santa that it was a stuffed animal she wanted and I'm sure his elves could make her one. *wink wink*

Yes, she got that too - lol.

My mom used to put a jar of green olives in my stocking every year! One year my mom mentioned that she needed new underpants right before Mothers Day. So I told my then stepdad that she really needed some (I was like 8) and we got her lots of new panties. She cried when she opened it and screamed at my stepdad for buying her new undies for Mothers Day. Mom and I still laugh about that one!

I remember as kids my brother, sister and I used to get, what my parents would call "gag gifts" It started as a joke one year (because we each love our own little gift so much) My sister got the big jar of pickles, my brother got the big jar of peanuts and I got like the 6-pack of peppermint patties. MMMMMMM.

Actually I think it started where my parents got my sister this HUGE jar of pickles (think BJ's size) because she would eat them like they were going out of style. So one Christmas there was this big ole jar of pickles with a big red bow on top. She was on top of the world. Then I believe my brother and I were all disappointed that we didn't get a "cool" gift like that. So from then on, we each got our favorite food item as a gift.

I don't necessarily do the same with my boys (who are now 14 and 16) but I do remember one year when they were about 4-5yrs old, getting them each one of those big Hershey Kisses that you find around the holidays. They LOVED them. Thought they were the coolest thing. The following year when I asked them to make out the Christmas lists, the first thing on each of the lists were these big Hershey Kisses. LOL So from there on out, I've always bought them one. They actually said that it wouldn't feel like Christmas if they didn't get one. :santa:

DS 11 has specifically asked for olives, hand sanitizer and MEAT this year.:rotfl: With a giant emphasis on the meat. DD's and I are all pescetarians now, mostly for medical reasons and I cook a fair amount of vegetarian meals so I guess DS feels deprived. He will be getting a stocking full of vienna sausage, beef jerky and summer sausage. DD14 asked for a taco!:lmao: We will be getting her a taco bell GC but packaging it by putting it along with some green construction paper in a hard taco shell and wrapping it in a taco bell wrapper.

My DS4 always asks for weird things!
When he was 11 months old, he wanted French fries.
He has asked for mud, pooping books (books to reas on the potty, santa's face was priceless) and this year he wants....a red toaster!

We asked my dad one year what he wanted and he said "Just be nice to me".
I asked him if we could just get him a present instead.

For my mom's birthday, when asked, she told my dad that all she wanted was a "clean bedroom"

My mom is a clean freak and it's just my dad's stuff laying around.

She said that she would be the talk of all her friends if she actually got it :lmao:

I don't think it happened.

I can see my 12 almost 13 year old asking for that. Hope you get the Mickey one!

When I was a kid I always asked for a maid to clean my bedroom.

Every year in daycare we asked the kids what they wanted and we had one, sweet sft spoken girl that said all she wanted was one flower. She was about 2 1/2 and every single time you asked ehr that was all she would say. So of course her mom got her a flower (among other things ) :)

My twins (3 years old) want a glue gun. I'm not sure what they think a glue gun is, we don't have one. And I have no idea what they think they'll use it for!

my parents are king/queen of recycling boxes. I've gotten stuff in Baby monitor box, A case of oil, Beer cases, tupperware containers etc. I learned at young age to not react to packaging but to open each item fully.

My dad always gets from me his Murphy law desk calender and turbo tax, poor guy was disappointed year I couldn't find calender in time for family celebation.

My 12 year old DS keeps telling me that he wants a block of cheese. A nice block of co-jack cheese will make his life complete.

My 13 year old DS wants a cheese wheel. A BIG cheese wheel, those Laughing Cow wheels don't count. :rotfl2:

My DD one year asked for a jar of marichinno cherrys. My mom got her the HUGE jar from Costco.
