funniest things you have ever heard in a store

Could be anywhere I guess, but what are the funniest or strangest things you have ever hear?

I was in Marshall's I think it was (I hate that store, but anyways. LOL.) There was some older woman talking to a friend of hers about her daughter. This woman was complaining about her daughter because I have no idea why. The one woman turned to the other and said, "You know, being a mother to her is like being a mother to a cockroach or rat or something like that." I had to run out of that aisle to keep from laughing. I thought that was the funniest, strangest thing I had ever heard in my life.

I just finished work at a large dept. store, and I actually had a customer complain to me that the store was "just too busy " - they wanted to file a complaint with the store manager. I don't think they shop too much

some body told me that they should switch the grocery store around and put the eggs where the bread is......that would be one stinky store!

Once I was 1 aisle over from a lady who called out "Don't come over here Mary". I went around the corner and it was obvious why she said that. It was the smelliest fart I've ever encountered! Now whenever one of us poots the other will say "Don't come over here Mary!"

I was walking and heard some little girl about 4 say, "Mommy...Instead of making out, mickeying out" Her moms face was priceless.

i just remember encountering husbands doing the last minute gift buying dash for christmas or valentine's day. they would always grab the tackiest lingeree item and ask one of us (sales girls) "would my wife like this?" or "you're about the same size as my wife-could you see if this fits?".

i always suggested they go to housewares- "where one size fits all"

Boy, these are some doozies! A not weird but really funny, cute thing I saw the other day at WalMart was a little girl, maybe 4 years old, riding in the buggy. When she saw a Frosty the Snowman display, she threw her little arms wide open and shouted, "Happy Birthday!" Cracked me up.

Over the grocery store PA system "Go see Chris in the seafood department. Chris has crabs. Get fresh crabs from Chris." Poor Chris DH and I were hysterical.

not in a store, but on a bus in wdw. There was this family of maybe four or five including parents. The smallest girl kept saying something over and over. And I was the only one that could hear it. She said, "mom! If your underwear is bothering you, just take it off!"" Mom, please just take your underwear off" I was trying SO hard not to laugh. When we got off the bus my mom asked me what was so funny and I told her. Thats been a joke about the busses now. "Mom. Just take your underwear off!"

At my son's school choir program two weeks ago:

His choir teacher asked everyone to put up their cell phones and vibrators. OMG every one looked around and started chuckling. I"m sure she meant don't have your cell phones on vibrate. My 19 yr old daughters boyfriend turned to me and said, ok my vibrator is now turned off.

Actually, It thought this was cute.

I was in the "personal hygiene" aisle the other day and saw a man on a cell phone explaining the differnet types of tampons to the person on the other end of the line. I assume his wife sent him on this mission and he was just over whelmed with the selection.

Oh my gosh, I am actually LOL!!!! That really tickled me for some reason. I've read it 3 times now and it still makes me laugh. I guess we have the same strange sense of humor.

OMG!! When I first read the title of this thread I thought of that story!! I remember you posted it on the fart thread and it was the funniest thing I have ever heard!! I still think of it every now and then and still laugh out loud!!

I was in a Walmart one time, and over the intercom I hear "customer needs assistance in sporting goods".....a few minutes later, "customer needs assistance in sporting goods"......a few more minutes go by then in the same voice, "customer is going to KMart."
