Funniest pet names?

We have a kitten named Puppy Brother. Like the cell phone commercial. We mostly call him Puppy. It suits him because he acts a little like a puppy and he has been a good brother to our other kitten (Dodger). Though he looks like Oliver, so we could have done Oliver and Dodger.

My sister's cat is named Sirius, but is mostly called Kitty Purry.

My grandfather's cats name is Nuisance. The cat came around after my grandmother passed away and wouldn't leave. My mom was there visiting one day and opened the door and in ran the cat. Pap said he was a nuisance, but could stay.

My second cat a multi colored dsh was going to be name Tiger Lil because she had some orange in her colors. But, she was the runt of the litter and very small and I just kept saying " She's such a little bit of a cat." And Little Bit stuck. She's now 13 still on the small side and happily responds to Little Bit.

Years ago, my son begged for our new cat to be named "the phonics game."

So we put name choices in a hat and fortunately, his second choice was pulled. "Schmurry Schmarkles" which was actually Little Murray Sparkles from Sesame Street. He just couldn't say it.

Turns out Schmurry Schmarkles was the perfect name for her.

We have a Little Bit too! Her original name was supposed to be Coco but she's so small, we started calling her little bitty kitty and then it just evolved into Little Bit.

We also have Big Momma, Albus aka Bus, James, Lily, and Molly.

I named my parakeet Tippy after the actress from The Birds. This was in 1989 and I was 8 years old. I later named her buddy Tappy, it was the only name that flowed well with Tippy. Heaven only knows what I would have named a 3rd parakeet.

I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Roux and she is the color of a good roux. Roo is also the sound they make when they are "talking" to you so the name was perfect. We have a stray named Biscuit and she is the color of a biscuit. And the Miniature Schnauzer is Butters, like from South Park. We had a cat, Eddie, that was a half wild stray that we rescued. Eddie had been to have shots and all and we took the cat back later to have him neutered. Well the vet called and said Eddie was an Edie. Now how they missed that on the initial exam is beyond me but Eddie stuck. And the vet only charged me for a neuter and not a spaying which costs more. DS had a hamster when he was about 5 and he named him Timmy Carlo. Don't know where that came from but it was a happy day when that darn thing finally died.

That's so cute!

We've also had a few hamsters. We've had Sunny, Ophelia, Victor and my favorite - Nugget, lol.

I've had 2 cats: Bogie and James Dean
1 Dog: Elvis

I broke the chain with the latest furry creature = dog = Henry (middle name is Elvis.)

There's a lady at work that named her dog Brian. I can't remember her son's name, but I remember saying...so your kid has a dog name and your dog has a kid name. Cracks me up!

For some reason people always find it really humurous that my dog is named Leroy.

Maybe the look just doesn't fit the name? But seriously, whenever people meet him for the first time hear me call him Leroy, they are all like :rotfl2: and I'm like :confused3

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

My sister has Boston Terriers and the first was named Bourbon. After he died she got another one and he was Bourbon 2.

Now she has Coca Lola and Morgan (Capt Morgan). Her DD has JD, short for Jack Daniels #7 (and he is the 7th Boston Terrier named Jack Daniels that is registered :)).

A friend has a beagle named Gibbs (as in Leroy Jethro Gibbs).

We had two kittens named Gizmo & Fidget. Fidget got his name because he always fidgeted when I was bottle feeding him. Poor Gizmo looked like Gizmo from the Gremlins movie.

My friend's mom had a cat named Schnoz. It was a very appropriate name-- he was black with some white patches, one of which was on his face then his nose was black so it really stood out.

I have a cat named Tigger,(I like him as you can see by my Avatar) When I got him he was named Chewy but I am not a star Wars fan so I changed it. The first night home I noticed him jumping and pouncing a lot (on nothing, LOL) then a commercial for "The Tigger Movie" came on and I just had to call him that. He is not orange though, he is gray and white striped. I mostly call him "Mr Kitty," "Mr Tiggs" or "Honeybun." DH calls him "Little S---" or the "Varmint"

We have two cats. The boy is named Lao Che after the bad guy in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The girl is named Nala...I'm sure you can guess where that is from. :goodvibes

My Dad has a Miniature Pincher that was originally named "Hiney", like in Heinekin. However, when he found out that his dog sitter told the front gate security guard that he was coming to take care of "Joe's Hiney", that name quickly got changed to Tiny!:rotfl:

Lol, I don't know what's funnier. "Taking care of Joe's Hiney or taking care of Joe's Tiny.... ;)

When we were kids, my brother won a goldfish at the church carnival and named him Moby.

My son has a guinea pig name Shnitzel. He used to watch a show called Chowder and that was Chowder's friend's name.

My mom has a dog named Butter.

My SIL named her basset hound Mr. Jiggles. We just call him Jiggy.

One of my cats is Douglas Fur. All of the kitties in his litter had tree-related names (Magnolia, Juniper, Bonsai).

I had a good friend in college (early 90s) from the Chicago area. She had 2 cats ... Horace Cat and Scottie Kitten, named after Horace Grant and Scottie Pippen from the Bulls.
