One time, my friend on I were on Expedition Everest and there was a LARGE group of girls in front of us. They were SO excited to go on the "nice, calm, relaxing train ride." I don't know what made them think it was just a train ride in the mountains. Anyways, they were enjoying the ride at the beginning where it's kind of relaxing. Then when we went up the big lift to the mountain, you could tell they were starting to get nervous. When we reached the broken tracks, that's where the fun started to begin. THEY. WERE. SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER!!!! They just got even louder when we went backwards!!! And they were like that for the rest of the ride!!!! When we were about to go back in the mountain where the yeti is, one girl yelled "IS IT OVER?!?!? IS IT OVER?!?!?!?!" Then when they saw the yeti, that was the loudest scream of all....... Me and my friend were cracking and laughing so hard the entire ride! It was definitely the funniest ride memory for me!

Mine is easy. The second trip with my kids my youngest was 7 and thought she was brave enough to ride ToT and RnR. Her face in the pictures are priceless. She was terrified, and refused to get back on ToT the rest of the trip. She did do RnR again and now, 8 years later, it's one of her favorites. But she's still not thrilled with ToT!

Last year on Splash, at the bottom just before we got out of our log the little boy in front of us said to his mother very loudly, "that made me fart 2 times!". :rotfl:

I have two. The first was riding Test Track (pre conversion) during intermittent rain showers. We came through the crash test barrier into a driving downpour and went for the 60 mph ride through it. It was like having a firehose pointed at you. The second was a trip on Space Mountain. First you have to know that on any thrill ride my wife screams like crazy going down and laughs hysterically on the flats and uphills. So Space Mountain was a big batch of screams and laughs in the dark. We were in the first two seats, and four teenage girls behind us. Well by the time we got to the end of the ride they were laughing hysterically at my wife. It's always nice to make someone elses day.

This one may not be funny but it is cool. Going on Rockin' Roller Coaster with a family member who was 91 at the time. At the end he said, "That was really great." RIP Pierce.

The first time my husband went on ToT he wasn't expecting the first drop and when it happened he threw his arm across the little girl sitting next to him like you would your child when you slam on your brakes in your car.

My other funny experience was at AKL in the hallway a family with a 3 yr old boy were walking by the big windows and the mom pointed out to him a zebra and he said " Here at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge" it was so cute we laughed and the mom said " can you tell we've been showing him the Disney resort planning video ?"

That's be DH and I screaming like lunatics on Primeval Whirl. Holy cow, we were not prepared to be slung around and abused like that! We were laughing and screaming the whole time...you know where your laughing cause you're pretty sure you're gonna die? I kept wondering how FOUR humans would ever fit in that car as the two of us were practically crushing each other in there (and we are not Pooh sized by any stretch).

I convinced my best friend to go on TOT, even though she was skeptical about it. She seemed fine while we waited in line, so I thought it was all good. As soon as we got in the elevator and the doors shut, she freaked out and grabbed my arm so hard I thought it was going to break. She then tried to hide behind me as she screamed, before we even started to drop. I just started laughing hysterically and swore she'd never have to go on it again as soon as we were off of it.

Last time I rode iasw it was obvious the couple behind me was not into it. When we were stopped at the end, waited to get off i heard one of them say "lets go on a popular ride." I knew what they meant, but it was still funny to hear while sitting on the ride that has been ridden by more people than any ride in the world. :rotfl2:

I have two, although I don't know if others will find them as funny as I do.

1. The first time my mother went on El Rio Del Tiempo (now Gran Fiesta Tour) in Mexico it was around noon, she exclaimed loudly "Oh, I'm so glad we came here at night" as we were passing by the restaurant. She completely forgot that it was the middle of the afternoon and we had just finished lunch. :rotfl: It's been about 28 years and we still make fun of her.

2. Once on Test Track our car broke down on the outside track. My mom yelled, "I'm so sorry. I hit the break! We were going so fast!" :rotfl: She was convinced that she actually hit the breaks. It took a moment to convince her that she had no break pedals at her feet.

I'll be going with my mom again this summer, so I can't wait to hear what she comes up with on this trip. :goodvibes

This happened to us, too! :rotfl2: My sister could be heard screaming and cackling over the entire Dinoland area, I'm sure of it. LOL

On another trip, we got to ride Barnstormer multiple times in a row without getting off because it was raining. We were soaked afterwards, naturally. lol

This story is a bit PG.

While ducking into Innoventions to get out of the rain, my buddy and I decided to try StormStruck. For anyone who hasn't experienced it, it's a storm simulation that includes very mild storm effects, including gusts of wind. As we settled into our seats, we heard a very young boy behind us ask his dad, "is this the ride where we get blown?" Our eyes widened, we exchanged glances, and then burst into uncontrollable giggles.

Sorry kid, but I think the line would have been a lot longer if it were...

Two years ago, I went to Walt Disney World with a large group of friends. One of our friends had recently had problems with panic attacks and was nervous about riding rides because such situations triggered his attacks. However, he had ridden some rides before we got to Hollywood Tower of Terror and did fine, so he wanted to ride. Well we went through the ride and everything seemed fine. We didn't hear much from him and he never indicated anything was wrong throughout the ride. But, when we got off and looked at our picture, his eyes were huge and his hand was over his chest and he looked like he was freaking out BIG TIME!! It was seriously the funniest thing. And we asked him, "What were you doing??" and he just says, nonchalantly, "Oh, I was just having a panic attack." And I will regret not buying that picture for the rest of my life.

:rotfl2: That is so funny!

1) Taking my mother on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad for the first time with her thinking it would be a fairly tame ride. She sat through it like a Queen having tea in her parlor! Didn't even bat an eyelid until the ride ended and she told me off for not 'warning' her. She was brought up in the UK, so of course she had that 'stiff upper lip' thing going! :rotfl2: Bless her... she passed away in 2011, and I still miss her terribly! She was also the first person I went to Disney World with, so the memories are special!

2) My mother-in-law bringing my very young nephew on the Haunted Mansion ride, assuming it was just a tour of a nice 'antique' house... Poor kid was petrified! (to add insult to injury, I believe the ride broke down for a few minutes so they were stranded within!)

3) My mother-in-law again, with one of my nephews again, going on Space Mountain with a hard boiled egg in her pocket... they survived, but the egg didn't! :lmao:

Our first time riding Tower of Terror my DH was sitting between me and DS8 at the time. When it starting moving forward down the hallway DH flipped out! DH has nerves of steel and most things does not phase him. He threw is arms in front on DS and I and then started screaming, "Why are we moving!". After, I was done laughing at him I told it was part of the ride. :rotfl2:

Not on a ride, but while watching Country Bear Jamboree my DH started laughing hysterically, and later he said that he had no clue why. He just found the show to by funny. He was laughing so hard that my Mom started laughing and then I started laughing. By the time the show ended we were on the floor rolling and everyone was looking at us like we were nuts. :rotfl:

DS, who was 6 at the time finally was tall enough to go on RNRC. After being scared out of his mind, he ended up loving it! Later he started singing Aerosmith songs and rocking his hips back and forth. It went like this: "Neh-neh. Neh-neh. Do the rockin' baby!" We laughed so hard, we cried! He was extremely puzzled when we told him the real words were, "Dude looks like a lady!"

DS made a comment about an elephant having a 5th, I leaned over to explain it was not a leg and before I could finish I saw the smirk on his face...what made it funnier was one man behind was laughing and then nap had to translate everything into French for the other people and then they started to laugh.

I wanted to strangle him!

I like his version better!

I should preface by saying that DH is not into thrill rides at all. They're pretty much a form of torture to him. The second (and LAST) time I got him to go on ToT, he was terrified. As we were getting up at the end, the lady next to him stopped him and was super-apologetic that she had grabbed his knee while she was screaming. He just stared at her with a perplexed look and said, "No, problem, I didn't even notice!" I just started laughing! Needless to say, he won't go on that one anymore.

We were on the Dinosaur ride in Animal Kingdom, and the ride stopped for a short period of time right before the T-Rex is suppose to roar loudly at you/run at you. My husband was getting bored, so he yelled "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKIN' AT" at the robot. RIGHT when he said that, the ride went back on and the t-rex came at us like it was suppose to. The young kid behind us freaked out, and my husband shouted "I'M SORRY, SORRY!!" 5 times. I just laughed with the kid's mother.
