My mom asks if she can drive the boat and the CM says sure. We get going and then the CM turns the boat over to my mom. We're chugging along and all of a sudden we're headed towards one of the elephants on the side of the ride. My mom turns to the CM and says "Am I really driving this thing?" I almost wet myself I was laughing so hard. She thought the ride was on a track!

Jungle Cruise is on a track. :)

My family was walking along at MGM (I think) where they have the statues of brooms carrying buckets (filled with flowers) - as in The Sorcerer's Apprentice. My daughter-in-law looked at them and said "Oh, that's from Beauty and the Beast." My son completely cracked up and said "Yes, you remember that part in Beauty and the Beast with Mickey Mouse and the Sorcerer..." Then she was embarrassed, but we all kept laughing about it.

Anyway, that became kind of an in-joke with us for the rest of the trip - like on the Great Movie Ride, somebody in our group asked what movie the western scene was supposed to be from, and of course we all pipe up "Oh, that's from Beauty and the Beast." Then we'd all fall over laughing. I'm sure the people around us thought we were nuts.

The funniest line I heard from a cast member was in the great movie ride. It's the cowboy scene:

Cast Member: "Anyone know what kind of horse that is?"

Riders: shouting out all types of horses

Cast Member: "You're all wrong....it's a fake one!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Haven't heard any other CM use that line since.

We will just walk from our Hotel, off site, to the Magic Kingdom.

I'm not nit-picking (well ok I am) but it annoys me when people call fastpass, 'fast-track' It is clearly written above fastpass kiosk and on the pass itself as well as everywhere in the map.

When we were at Epcot, I heard a woman tell her husband they were going to ride Fast Track. I started to ask her if they had a test pass for it. :lmao:

well... I don't know about at the park but a friend at work just sent me this :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Though I'm not sure if it's funny or just disturbing.... :confused3

Oh, you have no idea. My grandparents do this AND call fast pass fast track. It gets horribly confusing when you're trying to figure out exactly which fast track they are referring to at any given time.

Isn't the toll thingy in New England the Fast Track?
I could be totally off here... :lmao:

The funniest thing I have ever heard came from my own mother. It was our first trip to the world and we were staying at the Poly we were getting on the elevator and my mother say's " Oh its to bad that the happy people must have checked out" What? " Yes the happy people that sing every in there room every morning" when we relized what she was talking about we almost wet ourselves. Near the elevators are speakers that play poly music this morning they were off. She really thought the music she was hearing was a family singing in there rooms before heading off to the parks  to this day we still ask her about the happy people

:rotfl: :rotfl: This is priceless. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well that makes it that much funnier because now I look like an idiot. :)
don't you just hate it when that happens ?:teeth:

and the donald ride....????????????????????????????????????????? :rotfl:

My DH said the funniest thing this afternoon at Epcot...we were standing outside Minnie's butterfly garden chatting with some lovely people from our resort and he came up to me, astonished expression on his face and said, "this girl just poked me in the butt!" The man we were with confirmed it, laughing. "Yes, she just walked up and poked him. And it was unprovoked!"

DH has a pretty cute behind, but I never knew it was attractive to eight year olds... :rotfl:

While riding Spaceship Earth for the first time ever, my dd who is 4, smelled Rome burning and while licking her lips said, "Mmmmm, I smell meat!".:lmao:

My DS yelped out, when we passed the Phonecians (sp??) "Mommy! It's Jesus!!"

On our second visit to WDW our DD was 10 and our 2 DS's almost 8. We were staying at the Dixie Landings (as it then was) and one day in the foodcourt I was trying to juggle trays, find my money and keep track of the kids, all the while being bombarded with "When can we go on the Tower of Terror again" from the boys. Eventually I said "I'll be the Mummy of Terror in a minute if you don't let me think". We paid for our food and carried on.

A few days later, we were in the foodcourt again and the same CM was on the cash desk. In ringing tones he cried out "Hey, I remember you. You're the Mom of Terror, right?" I'm sure everyone must have thought I was some sort of child beating monster!

As a former CM, I have pretty much heard it all. One of the ones we got all the time, standing in front of BTMR, is..."is this a ride?"

But as a former Pluto, the most annoying thing to me was being called Goofy. They are both dogs but they are NOTHING ALIKE!! :furious: It drove me nuts and sometimes if someone called me that, I would sign their books, "Love, Goofy." They were perfectly happy with that since they thought I was Goofy in the first place!

And there are so many others...being White Rabbit and called the Easter Bunny..I was swarmed on Easter day ;)

While at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland over the weekend - a very angry looking woman pushing a stroller storms up to another woman with a stroller (must have been someone she knew) and blurted out "I don't know about you, but I ain't seen one da_n princess walking around this place!!"

I had to laugh...

Doesn't Pluto wear a tag on his collar that says "Pluto"? Guess that still wouldn't help some people.

LOL!!! that picture is hilarious, and it figures I'm the first one to compliment it!!!

We were waiting for a bus outside POFQ and when the bus arrived we had to wait to board while they loaded a gentleman in an electic scooter. It took several tries to get this man loaded properly and you could see he was a little embarrassed about holding everyone up. My kids were 4 and 2 at the time so patience was NOT in their vocabulary but they did "ok". We finally boarded the bus and walked towards the back and sat across from the man in the scooter. My DS -the two year old - kept staring and staring at this poor guy. I kept trying to distract him by talking about what we would do at MK etc.. but finally he just got up off the seat and walked over to the man (I was cringing!!) and he asked "are you a cowboy?" The man was wearing a straw hat to protect himself from the sun! The man was so nice and said "yes I am and this is my horse" (as he patted the scotter). My DS replied "can I pet it?" LOL. The man let him pet his scooter and then told him he better sit down so as to stay safe.

Another bus story from this past December. I was in Orlando on business and some work friends and I made a weekend of it in Disney. We were riding in the front of the bus on the way back to All Stars and while passing by the Contemporary the bus filled will a foul sewage smell. My friend very loudly said "gawd, what a horrible smell I wonder if the hotel is having sewage issues?" And then we hear a woman in the back of the bus scold her DH. "DAVE, you filled the whole bus! That isn't even human"! We looked back and his sholders were shaking from holding in the laughter. And we just busted out laughing. :rotfl2:

Just had entered Epcot via the International Gateway and was approaching the top of the hill at the bridge to France and walkway to England when a woman heading down to the IG blurted out "What World is this?" .
