Funniest comments you've overheard in WDW

This happened last week: while I was babysitting a six year old who his parents thought was too afraid to experience "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience", the little boy (who is extremely intelligent and gifted) stopped playing by the dancing fountains, and ran up to me and very seriously asked me, "How long will it take my mommy to go back up to normal size? and will it hurt?" I was so flustered that he was indeed deadly serious, I had all I could do to keep from laughing!!! I just said, "No, honey, it won't hurt. She'll be out soon." :goodvibes

This past week while on the bus going to Epcot
(Mom, Dad, Daughter 3-4 years old and Grandmother)
The young girl was in Grandma's lap fidgetting around....
The Dad turns to his wife and says " If we call Super Nanny now...
How long do you think it would take her to get her.... I do not care
the costs......"

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

edited to subscribe.... I LOVE THIS THREAD

HA! My DH would love to have Supernanny come on vacation with us, too, but not to watch DS. More because he has a crush on her.

Steve loves his Jo Jo.

We just got back and I heard so many funny comments! Most were from kids - I think teaching preschool for years has tuned me in to their voices...

The favorite was during Wishes at MK. We were standing just outside Tommorowland Terrace Noodle Station and had just seen Tinkerbell fly down from the castle. When the fireworks took off in earnest, I heard a 2 or 3 year old girl on her daddy's shoulders behind me suddenly gasp and call out "Tink, Tink, you otay? You otay, Tink?" I could also hear her family's smothered chuckles as her parents assured her that Tinkerbell was just fine. For the rest of our trip, whenever someone seemed to hurt themselves we would ask each other "Tink, Tink, you otay?"

Our second favorite was on our last day when we went to Downtown Disney to pick up a few last minute gifts. I was in the Pooh store and saw a very frazzled mom with a preschool boy (maybe 3 or 4 years old) on his way to a full blown temper tantrum. Mom was doing her best to keep her cool while the boy kept insisting that he wanted the giant stuffed Pooh Bear in the store. After she once again said it was too big and too expensive, the little boy cried out "but mommy, he wants to come home with me!" I cracked up, but I'm afraid the poor mom was far to fried to be able to laugh at it in the moment.

OK I've got a couple. First I'd like to give a shout out to ophie and her "are the animals sedated?" post which is actually something I overheard and told her about. :wave2: Although to be fair she was there at the time.

This first one is from a few years ago. I was at the little store next to the American Adventure just browsing. A little kid was looking at the flags they had for sale. They had a selection of older American flags, including the one with the 13 stars in a circle. The kid asks his mom if he can have it, and the mom says, "no honey we don't want that one, that's the Confederate flag"

Another one happened while I was in the restroom at The Land. I was in a stall and I hear a little boy a few stalls away, "Daddy?" The Dad who is waiting near the sinks, "Yeah buddy?" Little boy, "Just making sure you are still here" This exact conversation repeats 3 more times until I leave. It was just so funny. I guess he was worried his dad would take off and leave him there alone.

My dd, 4yo, waiting in line for TestTrack, eyes getting increasingly wider as she listens to the descriptions of all the tests they will put the car through, finally turns to dh and says "Daddy, you have to drive, because you're the strongest." LOLOL

Then, not really funny, but the most charming thing I've heard was a little girl with a British accent, "Mummy, dreams really do come true and this is mine." Aww.

Well, considering we heard it back in April, I thought you'd forgotten. :faint: :scratchin :wave2: :earboy2:

Good one about the "Confederate Flag" :sad2: Some people, right??

Pirates Of The Carribean attraction....

I heard someone say this back in 1989 and everytime I go on the ride I think about it.

You come up to the pirate ship and the captain is giving out his orders. One of the things he says is..."Fire at will"

And of course some guy in the back of the boat shouts...."Which ones Will?"

Guess you had to be there. I always say "which one is Will?" under my breath everytime we go by the ship now.

This guy was actually smarter than you thought....who would have known that he would have the future vision. The captain must be talking about Will Turner of POTC.....I don't see why your making fun of the guy. :teeth:

About 15 years ago, went to WDW with my DH who has always been terrified of boats/water. Convinced him to take the ferry from MK back to Ft. Wilderness by telling him, "Honey, all Disney boat rides are on rails. You'll be fine." Many overheard him utter choice words to me when the captain came on to announce that we were on a free floating vessel (he must have overheard me!)

Same trip--travelling companion was totally offended by the Aladdin shirts the parks were selling--wondered why a family park would sell a shirt that said, "Did you rub my lump?" We pointed out to him (after crying with laughter) that the word is "Lamp".

Careful... this might be you...

Stupid Guest Tricks

I'm sure plenty of you have seen this, but I thought I'd re-post for some who might have missed it.

I'm not sure if it's the funniest, but maybe the stupidest, and it came out of MY mouth!! Actually, my family thinks it's pretty funny and can't stop teasing me about it. Every trip since, no matter who is with me, they've heard the story and have to see where it happened!
In June, 2002, I was at WDW with just my then-17 year old DS. We had never seen AKL, so decided to go there on our arrival night, to check out the hotel, eat dinner at Mara, and go see some animals. As we were standing outside TRYING to see animals (it was already dark, plus I'm near-sighted and had forgotten my glasses!), I decided to look around at the balconies. I then made the STUPID comment, "Hey, look! Isn't that weird? There are people on every balcony and they are ALL skinny and have little heads!" To which my DS replied, "Mom....those are poles...".

Oh my gosh, that is so funny! I think I've been laughing for 5 minutes over this one. The sad thing is, it's sounds like something I would say!... :rotfl:

DW and I were at Typhoon Lagoon in 2003. I elected to try Humunga Kowabunga. She elected to remain at the bottom. After I came barreling down the slide, she recounted the tale of a middle aged British man who went down before me, stood up and uttered the line, "By crikey, that's the biggest wedgie I've ever had in my life" I had to sit down, I was laughing so hard.

Funniest thing to me was on our last trip, as we are walking around and a kid up ahead is having a massive tantrum and the parents are arguing, my now 9 yo daughter mimicks me and says (rather loudly) "Welcome to the happiest place on earth!!!"

:moped: ciao!

I think there might have been a thread like this, but we overheard something so funny last weekend I just had to share. While we were in MGM Studios we heard a teen telling anothere teen that they were going to see the " Ozzie Osborne Christmas lights" :rotfl: Now those would be some interesting lights!!!
I have to admit I never heard of the lights before last year, so I assumed they had something to do with the Osbournes too. "Sharon, look at all the f-ing lights!!!" :rotfl:

This was soooo cute!

We were over at the Contemporary just resort hopping and shopping on Saturday May 21, and we hopped on the DTD bus. We picked up some people at the PR, and this family with 3 boys came on the bus. The littlest of 3, told his mom, "Mom I want to go see the big golf ball today!!!!" I was like awwww cause he was the cutest little boy!!!!! :goodvibes

My first post!

A few years back, I didn't so much overhear several amusing lines, as I--well, actually, I said them! I was having some health problems and was taking a medication that put me into a mellow fog during which the connection between brain and mouth were not functioning at their best. When I meant to suggest that my son and I ride PotC next, it somehow came out as "Carrots of the Pyrobbean!" And as a topper, while at AK having just ridden Dinosaur, I commented that it wasn't as scary as the first time we rode it because it had lost the "elephant of surprise..."

Needless to say, my son has NEVER let me forget about these gems!!
