I had a funnel cake several years ago at the American Pavilion in EPCOT. I'm sure there are other spots as well.

As far as I know, funnel cakes are available at EPCOT(American Pavilion) and the water parks. I thought I read somewhere that they are also at MGM(Disney Studios), but not sure where. I love them too, and we always have to get one when they are near by.

:goodvibes There's a place (at least one) in MK....as you go into Liberty Square area from the Castle....on the right. Ummmmmmmmm yummy !! :goodvibes

Sleepy Hollow. The same place where you get the caramel corn.

Why would you want a funnel cake anyway? I hate them. I guess it's from growing up with them. It seems like they are everywhere in the South. I got so sick of them I can't even take a bite anymore. I see most of you are from up north so they're still new to you. Enjoy. :)

I gotta tell you luvdisney14, it's hard to get a funnel cake at WDW (or anywhere) that's as good as the one you can at IOA. I'm specifically speaking of the funnel cake sundae that you can get at Cinnabon (sp?) in IOA. I'm not a coaster fan, but I'll go to IOA just for that desert! :earseek: ;) :teeth:

Where have you been? :earseek: Caramel corn is pop corn coated with caramel - not gooey, but crisp. Are you familar with kettle corn? Same concept, only better. They sell it by the bucket at Sleepy Hollow and I usually get two buckets at a time and bring it back to the villa. We always have a bucket or two for the drive back home.

And I agree, plain ole funnel cake with powdered sugar is pretty darn good. So what if you wind up with a big lump of hot, fried dough in your stomach? It tastes so good going down. Yum. By the way, we live in the South.

My DS enjoyed a funnel cake during our recent trip. We found it at
Typhoon Lagoon. We also walked by a stand that had it in EPCOT in front of the American Showcase, but didn't stop for that one.

You can get funnel cakes in EPCOT(American pavilion,) Magic Kingdom(Sleepy Hollow), Animal Kingdom(Camp Minnie-Mickey), and MGM(there's a stand on Echo Lake.) They are also available on the Boardwalk and at Blizzard Beach.

MMMMMmmm...I love funnel cakes! But it's not just a Southern thing. Having grown up in NJ, I used to have them every summer at Great Adventure, down the shore, and even at the Meadowlands Fair. To me, they are a "vacation"-type food. :teeth:

Born and raised in New Jersey, with funnel cakes. They are nothing new up here. And, BTW, I still love them!

Actually, I lived in NY/CT area for 34 years before moving to FL and they are very popular there at fairs and on Boardwalks. I now live in SW Fl 20 years, Lee County to be exact and there aren't very many places to get a Funnel Cake here :confused3 So when you speak for them new to those from the north and having them here in the south, that doesn't hold true for me.. ;) very much the opposite it seems....:goodvibes I get my Funnel Cakes in Disney.. :thumbsup2 and now they have a yummy Pumpkin flavored one for the Holiday season....:goodvibes

Keep in mind that all funnel cakes are not created equally though. The prices range, and I believe the EPCOT ones are the most expensive at $6 for a plain sugar funnel cake. I had one last trip from Hollywood Studios, and it wasn't very good... they overcooked it. My previous trip was from Sleepy Hollow, and it was great.
