Fun Wheel Challenge

In the entertainment section of DCA, they list the Fun Wheel Challenge at 8:45pm and 10pm. What is it?

Like Simon Says... With every person waiting for WOC with a cell phone. If you win, you get to control the lights on the fun wheel for like a minute.

Wi Fi is very spotty at DL Resort, and playing this game is a little frustrating. Not that it is a serious game, I just mean most people have connection issues while playing.

I played it once, but I definitely had problems connecting. It's a simon says way of passing the time while you wait.

We played it in July and it was fun, good way to pass the time.

I tried to play it earlier this week. I connected to the wi-fi about half an hour before the game started and it stay connected- right until it was time to play! I never got it to connect again and so never got to play. I had really been looking forward to that, we have nothing like that at WDW (we are local WDW passholders who made a first time trip to DLR). It was very frustrating.

So our friend won it and got to control the wheel last year as we were waiting. But he says there is a specific Wi-Fi for the game that you connect to - if that makes a difference to anyone

Before the game starts you connect to the network they open for the game. I think its called Pier Wifi. I have never had an issue connecting to play the game. The network doesnt let you get data from other sites though, so imessage, facebook, or anything else that relys on an open data connection may not fully function while you are connected
