Wednesday March 28th
Weather ~ hot, sunny, became windy in evening 83*F
We awoke early to those beautiful views and then ate our breakfast out on the balcony.
We spent the morning sunbathing, swimming in the hotel pool and in the sea which was lovely and warm, much warmer than our sea is even in August!
We had a quick snack in our room and then walked down to Dolphin Village shopping village where we had booked a boat trip for this afternoon.
We had a marvellous time, we saw lots of dolphins frolicking in the sea, unfortunately they are quite hard to photograph as they move so quickly but I have some brilliant video footage of them.
The boat trip was very relaxing, there is a constant supply of cold drinks and Captain Barry let everyone take a turn at sailing his boat!!
We all felt hungry once we had docked so popped into IHOP for a meal. Samantha had Caesar salad, Danielle had cheeseburger and fries, Francesca had chicken strips and fries, and Bryan and I had steak omelette and hash browns. Delicious.
For dessert I chose strawberry crepes, Francesca had an ice-cream sundae, and Bryan, Danielle and Samantha shared a huge plate of pancakes ~ half were choc chip and half were strawberry ~ and even between the three of them they couldn’t finish!
On the walk back to the hotel we popped into Publix for some more snacks for our room, then spent the evening on the beach and in the pool, whilst making sure we watched the sunset from our balcony again!
Tomorrow ~ Clearwater Aquarium.
