....at any of the parks (or anywhere else)??? Looking for suggestions. Things like the $7 hairdo at the barber shoppe.....or the bus cards the drivers will give you. That kind of stuff!:) If there is a thread about this can you point me to it?! Thanks.......

Pick a Pearl in Japan, watch wishes from the GF beach, Ask to sit in the front of the monorail(if they still do this)

My kids shot a spy movie using World Showcase as a backdrop. Loads of fun when we got back and watched it.

Another thing is to go to the temple in China and there is a circle in the center of the entrance. If you stand directly in the center of the circle and talk, it sounds like you are speaking into a microphone. Great effect.

My girls LOVED the Kim Possible Experience at Epcot. They also liked renting the surrey bikes at Wilderness Lodge and Yacht Club. We also enjoyed the movie on the beach at the Beach Club. It was an awesome way to unwind... and since it was a movie we had seen we "walked in" about halfway through. We also always go to Minnie's House in Toontown and "bake the cake" and "pop the popcorn" in her kitchen.

Every year I still look for the darn key on the mat in Muppet 3d and every year it's still there :teeth:

I still walk into Minnies "sun room" and STILL after all these years get a kick out seeing the "palm"-tree, the "Daisys" the Dande-"lions", the tu-"lips", the blue-"bells", the butter-"cups" and the "tiger"-lilys.
ok so these are silly things but they crack me up each and every time.

These are great things to point out to the kids! My DS loved getting his hair colored and glittered last year at the barber. Didn't even know they did that! And for 7 bucks!;)

I guess the bus drivers have little cards with pics of the different Disney busses on them. My friend was mentioning her little guy got a few last year. They didn't ask for them or anything, the driver just gave him some.

Maybe someone here could confirm. My little guy woould love those!;)

For my family it is:
- picking a pearl in Japan
- getting their face painted in DHS (has become an annual tradition)
- renting a pontoon boat at CR and going around 7 Seas Lagoon/Bay Lake
- Trying to get all of the resort pins for our pin collection, and once that is finished it is onto our favorite ride pins (kids LOVE looking for pins)
- Trading pins with the different cast memebers
- sitting in the front of the monorail at least once during a trip
- we haven't done this one yet, but on our trip in December we plan to look for hidden mickeys as we wait to go on each of the attractions....my DH just got an iphone and got an app that explains a ton of hidden mickeys at each of the parks.

On our past vacation (this past August), they were informing those who requested to go to the front that they were no longer offering this service. At that point, I was glad that we were able to do it a few times in the past and getting the monorail cards. Those cards are now treasured souvenirs.

You can make paper in Innoventions at Epcot! I did this in June and it was tons of fun and makes for a great souvenir from the trip.

What?!:scared1: No Way...that is a bummer. :guilty:

I always go to the "Singin' in the Rain" umbrella in the back of DHS and step on the pad to make it rain! It's so much fun, and lots of people don't seem to realize it's there. I've gotten people forming lines behind me every time I do it because they've never seen it before!

Unfortunately, this is because of the Monorail accident that happened recently where a CM was fatally injured. I think it's going to be a long time before they offer this again, if at all.
