My DD lives 1000 miles away and is going through a painful breakup. Want to send her a little something every couple of days for the next couple of weeks. Amazon primes makes it really easy! Ideas for the fun things? $5-$20 or so? Trying to keep things a little light hearted. I sent her some fav tea and a photo from our last trip. Thanks for the ideas!

How about fancy tasting salts - https://www.amazon.com/Smoked-Sea-S...gateway&sprefix=salts+tas,aps,133&sr=8-1&th=1 (with "feel free to be as salty as you like for the next few weeks")
How about a box of dessert truffles - https://www.amazon.com/Lindt-LINDOR...truffles&qid=1552258420&s=gateway&sr=8-2&th=1 (with "you are the sweetest person I know")
Since she's a tea drinker, another item for the tea and sweet that my teen daughter loved was rock sugar - https://www.amazon.com/Tea-Forte-Am...r&qid=1552258507&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1 (same message as above)

I'll keep thinking, but I'm trying to go with disposable and universal, since I don't know how much "stuff" she has:)...

Spring and summer fun stuff-nail polish, pedicure gift certificate, new nail clippers, Emery boards, cute sandals or flip flops, beach towel, sunglasses, sunscreen, pumice stone, hair care stuff- new brush, special shampoo/ conditioner, hair gel, scrunchies, hair ties, barrettes are in again.

Cookies and special candies always make me smile.

Silly putty!

I know you're sending from Amazon, but when I put care packages together for my college kids, I put in serious stuff (food) and odd-ball stuff - like a clothes pin or replacement Christmas lights. They get the package and the weird stuff just makes them laugh. It's gotten to the point where they wonder what's next!

I hope your daughter's feeling more like herself soon.

Bath salts, cozy slippers, a good book....What a sweet thing to do. My first "big" breakup was horrible and my mom was my rock.

Yesterday, I was searching Etsy for a get well gift box. I found a couple sellers who make terrific boxes for all occasions, break ups, etc. They typically include a succulent plant, candle, and a few other goodies. Check them out! It would also be easy to look at their boxes and create your own. Some also include bath bombs, etc.

A few of many sellers:

How about a replica of a favorite childhood toy/doll/ book/ cd?

My dad bought a copy of the first picture book I read as a 4yo, when I was having a hard time. It made my day!

Cheryls cookies. They have $5.99 cookie cards, and my dd LOVED getting those in the mail when she was at school.

What about a recordable card? During a breakup, sometimes you don't really want to talk. But hearing your Mom's voice could always help.

I put together a box once, with about 30 or so small individually wrapped items with instructions that only 1 item could be unwrapped and opened each day. It gave the recipient something to look forward to each day. These were funny, silly or delicious items, usually costing about a dollar, but they gave her a smile every day through a rough time.

It's not amazon, but we sent one of our college age daughters a mini piñata that I found at Target (I've seen them recently, in the party/gift bag section) -- filled with chocolate and a gift card, took her awhile to get to the gift card so it was like an extra surprise (just starbucks)
