Fun In the Sun Passes - Cheaper

You can purchase the Fun in the Sun passes from Paramount Travel for $278 (adult) and this includes a Character Breakfast voucher. Shipping is $15, which makes this a slightly better deal than what the Mousesaver newsletter is offering. These are available to the general public. Their website is www.disneyareainfo.com, then click on "Buy Florida Theme Park Tickets On-Line". I purchased two adult passes and they indicate they are good until May 31, 2003. If you read the details of the Fun in the Sun Pass on the mentioned web site, it does specify that this ticket is for international travelers, and may require proof of identity in the form of a passport or international driver's license.

On the vouchers themselves state "... voucher and a current photo ID entitles you to admission to...." and then lists all of the valid places the pass is good for. It also states "present the voucher at any Ticket Booth, together with a current photo ID and you will receive your Florida Fun in the Sun Pass". Nowhere on the voucher does it state that you have to present international identification to use this pass.

I believe since the Mousesavers subscribers are being offered the same voucher, this further would indicate that it is available to United States citizens (even if Disney isn't marketing it directly to us).

I hopw your right JanaD because I took your advice, and purchased them from Paramount today. Thanks to you, because I had never heard about them before your post, and was very upset that the Mousesavers offer wasn't available thru Ticketmania.....I have a good feeling because I ordered them by calling the 800 # and the women didn't say anything about having to be "International".....

When I went to order this summer & received the 10 day worldpass, they would not sell Fun in Sun at that time in U.S. But they had only recently before that started selling the 10 day to the US. I imagine things change very quickly along the way!

Our 10 days worked like a charm. No problems when I kept demagnetizing them. (Was so careful - then found a pair of those 'blinky' magnetic earrings in the bottom of the pocket. ACK!)
