My friend and I dined here for the first night of my birthday trip, on my actual birthday, June 16th.

Setting and Atmosphere: B+. Definitely a cool vibe, I loved the dining-inside-a-boat theme. However, I felt that it wasn't as creative as the other Disney restaurants. They gave us a window table in honor of my birthday, which was very nice. I loved being able to look out onto festive Downtown Disney! I'm sure it's even nicer with a water view.

Food: B+. They serve a complimentary crackers & dip to start with; I thought the dip was delicious, but I didn't like the crackers. I got the calamari for appetizer, which was a disappointment since it was soft and I'm used to the yummy crunchy kind. Then I had the clam chowder, which was really good, but it was too rich for me to finish even half of it. The best thing about the food here was the milk chocolate creme brulee -- YUM!!!! It was amazing, the best I've ever had! I wish they served it at more restaurants! After that amazing creme brulee, I can't eat the regular flavor anymore!

Service: C. The service here was fine, but definitely the worst of all the other restaurants on our trip, since we seemed to have amazing service everywhere else! They just took a long time to bring the food, and it was hard to wait since we were ravenous!

Overall: B. This wasn't one of the highlights of our trip and it isn't a must-do restaurant for me, but I did enjoy it and I'm still craving that creme brulee! I recommend it if you have an extra meal and aren't sure which TS restaurant to go to.

Enjoyed reading your review ~ Thanx for sharing.

Thanks for the review, I haven't tried Fultons yet, but it sounds worth it for the creme brulee alone! :cool1:

Glad you guys enjoyed the review! Yes, it is DEFINITELY worth going here if you are a creme brulee fan! Otherwise, there are more enjoyable Disney restaurants on property.

Is fultons on the ddp? I printed out a list of ddp places off allears, and it is not listed on there as one. We were thinking of going since we are coming to disney for the first time on our honeymoon, and figured we were gonna pay oop since it was not listed. If it is on the plan are there restrictions on what can and cannot be ordered there since I printed the menu and while yes it is pricey it's nothing we have not payed for before where we are from. I am now a bit leary seeing the review though. I would hate to go and it be a bad experience. Any help is appriciated.

We've got an ADR for Fulton's on the first day of our trip in December. This will be our only OOP expense meal wise. The both of us LOVE seafood (crab and lobster mainly), so hopefully this will be worth our time, and worth my money! LOL!

Until next time,
John

When we were there last (which was, admittedly, in 2001) they had an awesome "seafood feast" for 2 (or, really, as many as were at your table). It was a bit pricey ($30 a person-ish) and included a TON of crab and lobster. It was just a stupendous meal and certainly worth the price.

Sounds amazing
I love seafood and although I've booked the dining plan, I may pay oop for this restaurant, as I'm dying to sample their Chowder and their gorgeous sounding desserts.

For atmosphere its not disney's best its a little tight inside...but love the King crab claws...already cracked and oh so tasty.....add a lobster tail and its a dream meal...Of course your going to pay for it...but hey its really good...also recommend the crème brulee' dessert...

Lostgirlz, Fulton's is not on the Dining Plan, and if you're paying OOP for a honeymoon trip, I really don't recommend it. It's a pretty good restaurant, but it really doesn't feel very Disney, and it's not nearly as special or romantic as other restaurants on property. For a honeymoon trip dinner, I highly recommend California Grill. I haven't tried Victoria & Albert's, Narcoosee's or Citricos, but those get wonderful reviews and sound very romantic and nice. Have a magical trip!!
