Only a £3 diffrence, full size dodge charger or similiar or intermediate suv ford escape or similiar.
Personally think i prefer the suv after driving one a couple off years ago but never done full size car, what does everyone else seem to prefer and is their anyone to put me off the extra £3 on the suv?

I wouldn't know which to choose, all down to the model you get on the day, if its a Dodge Charger I would prefer that to some SUV's.
I will probably have the same choice for our 2nd car in August, won't know which to choose, might come down to tossing a coin:goodvibes

i'd probably go for the midsize SUV over the fullsize...
but really, either of them would be find..
and i've rented both on different occasions...

thinking about this again, i like driving medium size SUVs better, but the full size probably has more luggage space than a medium SUV - if that's an issue for you..

I gave my husband the same choice last night for our november trip he is going with the full size :)

I would choose a SUV personally as I like the higher driving position. Personal choice really.

Hi,
we booked a mid size suv last year and were disappointed with the choices we had at the airport. I think that there were 4/5 types available but not 1 would take 3 medium suitcases in the boot. We ended up with a kia sportage (not the brand new model) and a suitcase on the rear seat. In previous years we have had an intermediate car (sebring) which easily took 4 cases and a full size lincoln which was only half full with 3 cases, hand luggage and a trolleys worth of groceries.
I would definitely not choose the medium SUV again.

I love the SUV

we had a Ford Escape this year, great size and loads of luggage space

only time we had a full size my mum really didn't like the back seats, said they leant back far too much

Thanks for all the diffrent replys, im going to keep with the suv, as somebody said its personnal choice and i just feel that i prefer suvs even though i havent driven a full size. At home i have an audi a4 but ive always wanted a car like the rav4 or bmw x3 x5, so im going to go with that and hope i get the ford escape.
Thanks everyone.

Also is their any perks to joining dollar express and does it cost anything? If anyone knows thank you.

Ok as my car hire with them is this year i may aswell sign up them. Thanks wayne.

Keeps sending me to an error page after i have fillied everything in, grrrr. Have to ring them.

who did you book your car hire with? we are looking at the suv as well for our oct trip

I booked with auto europe via quidico. £301 less quidico think 8.5% for an intermediate suv ford escape or similiar for 15 days.

Price seems to be £298 for 2 weeks in october, that includes loss damage waiver, their is another option for 330 but only diffrence i seem to see is it includes theft protection.
All prices not include the quidico discount.
