Let me update the first post...

She's never swapped by herself but she has helped me in alot of mine. She'll be up visiting in a couple weeks for her Fall Break so we'll knock them out then.

If we don't get any more people my sister would love a spot. She is only 12 but does some really good work and I'll be with her to make sure its up to par. If thats ok with everyone she'd really like July but said she'd take whatever was left.

Just let me know what you all think.

that's perfectly fine with me! I think it's great that you guys can scrap together. :)

My supplies have been shipped and I've specially bought a new big cutter so i can use my Bling :goodvibes

All cut out :goodvibes just sticking, counting and measuring to do now:thumbsup2

for september I am thinking about doing "Back to School" is this OK with everyone? Or is there another theme you would rather see?
Thanks
Jennifer

Since I don't have kids ... I'd prefer that it not be Back to School but if that's what the majority wants, I'm okay with it.

My little one won't be in school either so something else would be better but I could make whatever work. Also school here starts in August but I'm not sure about everyone else.

Our schools go back in September, but I can see it wouldn't work for everyone. Just like Labour day, Thanksgiving, 4th July or anything to do with basketball or football (not soccer!) doesn't work for me, and Christmas maybe doesn't work for everyone. ;)

How about something generally autumnal? Leaves and stuff?

I didn't think of all the holidays you don't have.

How is Easter for everyone for March? Its pretty early next year.

For July my sister was thinking 4th of July with red/white/blue but I think we could switch it to more of a beachy/poolish theme if that would work better for everyone?

I was thinking about doing fall stuff for september - but in New England fall is more october - november.
maybe we need to list what everyone is doing so we dont duplicate - I can do fall leaves for september but I dont want it to be the same for october or november
what do you think
Jennifer

Fall would be nice for september...or autumn as it usually officially starts in september...even if the leaves change color in other months....

I'm happy with Easter in March as that is when it is this year, adn I'll be using this in a scrapbook rather than a calendar. As for July, I've had a month swap where the July kit had lots of stars and things, but they worked well for DS(14)'s drama and orchestra shows :goodvibes The colours are not a problem as they match ours:rolleyes1

Those autumn months are a problem! They are so similar! And we have fireworks in November, but you don't. How about some vegetables/harvest festival-type schemes for one of them? (Don't all fight at once!) For us, September is when the home-grown apples first come in, so that would work for school and the month :thumbsup2

I have already purchased my supplies to do Thanksgiving around a fall harvest theme with browns and dark greens and oranges as my main colors.

I'm done! Posting tomorrow morning :goodvibes

ETA they're on their way! :yay:

i am leaving for disney with a group of 11 adults with mental retardation in 4 days. Mine will be done and mailed when I get back.
I am going for fall and apple harvest. I had bought all the stuff for back to school but too many people ruled it out. so fall stuff it is!
