Fujifilm Finepix which one?

Ive narrowed it down to these two: there both around the same price (about a $3 differance) So which should I buy?

My DD has the S1000. It's a few years old but still a great little point and shoot. It's easy enough for an 8 year old to use and still has enough control for a point and shoot to really do something with it. The video is OK. Not outstanding, but not horrible if you just want it to share on the web. The ISO performance is better than the Rebel XT I was using when I bought the Fuji for her. I was seriously jealous for a while. She's also made some really nice 16x20 enlargements of images she's shot with it.
