Fuel Prices Where We Live

The reason diesel is higher is because of anti-polution laws passed a few years ago. Diesel must now be made with lower sulfur. And that is more exspesive to process. That and the fact that states took advantage and raised taxes on highway (diesel ) fuels before the prices got so high.

It finally went under $2 here --- $1.98

Yippie, We finally broke 150 here. Yesterday Reg Unleaded was 1.49 gal and Deisel was 2.36 gal. It's hard to really believe that some may soon see gas under a dollar a gallon. The best part is people are still not driving much so the prices will have to stay low due to lack of demand.

All I can say to the smug Arab countries is NOW you asked for it you got it. Kinda like the Japanese that woke the sleeping giant. I think the gas shock has started a new era in car production and the USA will lead the world soon on this too. I predict that most all cars in the US will get over 50 mpg within the next 5 years.

Reg $1.69 it went up .03, and diesel is $2.39, it came down .30 in a couple days!!!

Diesel 2.19 here in my town and that is the cheapest between WDW and here.(As of this morning.)
