Fuel Prices Where We Live

Here in NJ i saw it range from 1.73-1.89 but saw on the news last night someone had it as cheap as 1.49 for reg wish it was that cheap in oct when i went to the fort i averaged 3.46 on the way to the fort when i left NJ on 10/11 when i left the fort on 10/27 for NJ i averaged 2.47 on the way home that was just over 100.00 less to get home probably almost 100.00 less then that now

Diesel $2.49gal. Filled up the big truck tonight for our trip south to N.C. for thanksgiving. $100 got right around 40gals. The last time we put fuel in the semi back on 10/02/08 diesel was $3.69 gal and a $100 only got around 27gals. Woohooo I'm loving these lower prices!!!

Side note, Denny, I didn't realize you were in MO. Do you ever go to Truman Reservoir or Table Rock Lake? We took a few trips up there from Dallas and loved it! We really enjoyed camping at Table Rock and exploring that clear lake!!

I have the opposite problem. I scheduled a vacation the week of Dec 6th, But decided against trying to make Fort reservations due to the anticipated 4 dollar gallon gas. Didn't think I could afford it with all that. Now I have time off and nowhere to go really. I swear some day I'm gonna see the Osborne lights.

Oh if anyone has a tent site and doesn't mind company may I park my Popup in front of your tent ? I'll chip in on the site fee. LOL

Table Rock is a pretty lake, but I'm more of a River/Spring kinda guy. It's
close to 250 Mi to Table Rock/Branson from my house so it's been a long time
since I've been there. I'm only about 50 Mi from Lake Of The Ozarks and less
than 40 Mi from the Ozark Scenic National Riverways. Maramec Springs is
right down the road from me also.

Regular here in central NJ is still around 1.65-1.75 hope it goes lower but i believe it won't be long before it starts going the other way

Unfortunately I think we have hit bottom here. Most stations have stopped the price drops around the lower 170s with a few rare ones in the upper 160s. We even had a spike of a few cents in the last few days due to the oil price going up a little. Today at my fav station it was $1.73 for regular.

just got back in for sea,find unlead for $1.66 two blockes down road for $1.62, I think it going to stop at $1.60

I just dont get that diesel is a BUCK higher than gas.
