Ft Wilderness Cabins May 15-22. WE ARE DOING WHAT?

Aww! Poor little guy! I hope he is feeling better and it didn't ruin his vacation!

I love to watch storms roll through. Mike and I will sit on the front porch and watch the rain/hail/lightening, but it's nothing compared to what you guys experience. We rarely have a tornado warning!

I believe they do have agents that specialize in Disney/Universial/Seaworld ONLY vacations!!!! ;)

I may seriously look into it as a second job.

He is feeling better. Thanks.

I love to watch it rain, when it just rains. We can get some pretty gnarly storms around here that come up out of nowhere :scared:

The day dawned bright and early with the new hope of a day with no rain :wizard:. Well, hope really is overrated :sad1:. I again cooked breakfast only to have Amanda come out of the room and say "Mom, I'm really sick and Matt doesn't feel good either" :scared1:. I had so been wanting to have an illness free Disney trip, well again hope is overrated. I dug out some of the meds I had brought and gave them to the two sick ones. Dale, Tyler, Dallas and I headed over to Epcot because today was lunch at Le Cellier. I had been waiting all week to eat there.

So we made our way into the park and Dallas wanted to do the Kim Possible Adventure. We headed to Innoventions to get our tickets while Dale and Tyler headed to TT. After we got our tickets we did the Firehouse and that was really nice. Our team won :woohoo:. We left Innoventions to head toward WS and start out KP adventure.

It had started sprinkling rain so Dallas was wearing his long sleeve shirt.

I looked absolutely horrible. Wet hair, hair dryer broken in the room, I just stopped caring at this point......:rolleyes1
DSCF2500.jpg

We met up with Tyler and Dale. I can't remember if they rode TT or not. I don't think I even asked.

DSCF2520.jpg

So we headed off to get our Kimmunicators. Our adventure began in Mexico and Tyler was starving because he wouldn't get up for breakfast :sad2:. He got a snack at the Cantina de San Angel. When he finished we started out adventure in Mexico. Dallas and I really liked it and we will do it again in September if they are still doing it then. I didn't get any pix in Mexico, I was having too much fun. We left Mexico and started walking around WS. I wanted a Margarita so I got one from the Margarita stand. I drank about half of it and then decided I had had enough. I went into Kringla Bakery and bought 3 more school breads to take back to the cabin. Dallas wanted to do one more adventure so we went in to China and started another adventure. I did get a few pix there.

We finished up the adventure here and I told Dallas that we enough. We were all really starting to get hungry and our ADR was for 2:30, it was only 1:30 :scared1:. The sun was now coming out and it was getting HOT. We stopped at a kiosk outside America and bought Dallas a short sleeved shirt.

DSCF2538.jpg

So we arrived at Le Cellier about 30 minutes early and checked in. We had not been sitting very long when they took us to our table. Our waitress was FANTASTIC here. I let her know I had the TIW card and she then asked if we wanted appys. I wanted to try the soup so I ordered a cup of that.

Sorry it is half gone, I forgot to take the picture before I dove in. I was starving.
DSCF2531.jpg

Tyler and Dale shared the Spicy Chicken and Chipotle Sausage. I took one little bite and it was HOT. The roasted corn polenta the saugage sat on was yummy.
DSCF2530.jpg

Dallas had the strawberry milkshake(I forgot to take a picture) and asked for a glass of water to go with it :scared1:. He then kept requesting refills.

This is the only picture of the bread I got. I was really bad about the pictures this trip :sad2:.
DSCF2532.jpg

Tyler and I ordered the Mushroom Fillet.

DSCF2534.jpg

Dale got the hamburger and a Moosehead beer.
DSCF2533.jpg

Dallas got the kids pizza
DSCF2535.jpg

We did not get and dessert. We were way too full. Oh and the reason Dallas kept requesting water refills.........he didn't like the milkshake .

My check, including the 18% tip, was only $105 + some change with the TIW card.

Continued next post.

The food sounded/looked good...we really liked Mexico too! it was the only one we did this year.

What is a TIW card??

We left Le Cellier and I got a few more picture of the flowers.

This is why we decided to leave. Well one of the reasons.

We headed back to the cabin to rest for a while. I was really tired from lack of sleep. We knew we needed to go back to Walmart and pick up a few more things to last us till we left Saturday. I wanted to take a nap :rotfl:. We decided to drop Dale off at the kennel and I would take the boys back to the cabin. After about 30 minutes Dale called and said he was ready for me to come pick him up so off I went again. All of the kids stayed behind and I went to get Dale. Amanda and Matt were hungry and didn't want anything we had in the cabin. Well, for those of you who read my PTR you will know that I mentioned how much Dallas loves Flipper's Pizza. Well, we found out there was one on Westwood Blvd so we headed that way. We found Flipper's and across the street was a Publix. We picked up loads of stuff at Publix and then went to Flipper's and ordered take out. They really do have GREAT pizza. We got 2 large pepperoni pizzas and I swear it was like watching a school of piranhas when we sit it down :lmao:. After putting up food we decided to just call it a day and get ready for bed. We had one more full day and it was going to be at DTD and hit DHS again.

DID THIS HAPPEN? WHAT WAS THE CHANGE? Ok, it is time for me to head to bed. I worked this weekend and I am exhausted.

Great Pictures!!! I love the orange rose, shot! Sorry to hear Amanda & Matt were under the weather...but if they ate pizza **that is always a great cure for all that ales.

The food sounded/looked good...we really liked Mexico too! it was the only one we did this year.

What is a TIW card??

The food was good. We are going to eat there again in September if I can get an ADR.

The TIW is the Tables In Wonderland card. It is suppose to be a discount card for food. If you have annual passes you can buy the card for $75.00. You receive a 20% discount on food and beverages. The kicker is, they automatically add an 18% tip no matter how many people are on the ADR. So you are only saving 2%. I will usually leave at least and 18% tip, but I think it should be my prerogative when there is less than 6 people. Our waitress at CM sure did not deserve an 18% tip, I STILL haven't gotten my orange juice......:lmao:.

Thank you. I wanted to pick that rose so bad. My pictures didn't come out so good this year. I guess I was not taking my time like I usually do. Yeah, it seemed like the pizza cured them for a while anyway........

I hate to admit it but was two days behind on your trip report. I was getting antsy waiting on our WDW vacation to come along so I started a trip report of my own. We surprised our son with a WDW vacation last August and I thought maybe some of my Dis friends would want to read about it.

Back to your report, tell you son I don't know why in the world he didn't get all the sprinkles after getting his hair cut.:rotfl: What growing boy wouldn't?

Doesn't it totally suck when somebody gets sick while on vacation? My husband once passed a kidney stone while at WDW. What a nightmare that was.

Lovin' the Epcot pictures. You need to post your flower pictures on the Disney Flower Pictures thread. They are so pretty.

Great Epcot update. It was just so pretty there!!! Our Kimunicator took us to Norway. I think Emily and Anthony wanted to do another one too, but I we were hot and hungry too.

I'm reading too! I just got caught up after following your link from my PTR. Sounds like you guys had a great time in spite of the rain. I am hoping and praying we get super lucky when we go and just get some afternoon sprinkles-no hurricanes please!!!

I'm glad you came back . I will go over and read your report too. I love reading reports, they help me decide what I want to do and need to do to plan.

I wanted him to get the sprinkles. I may go in September just to have the sprinkles put in my hair.......:lmao:. So now lets see.....I am going to get my face painted and have sprinkles in my hair. That is the day we need to go to Narcoossees.........................:lmao:.

I think we have only had a couple of Disney vacations that at least one of us wasn't sick :sad2:.

Thank you about the flower pix. I need to go over to that thread and post. I love to take pictures of flowers. I would really like to take a photography class, but I just don't have time.

We really had fun doing the two adventures. It was fun seeing how the attractions interacted. I know it is going to be hot when we go in September, but I don't care. I just hope it isn't storming.

:welcome: We did have a good time. I really enjoy my whole family being together so that made it worth while. I am hoping and praying for good weather too. I want our September trip to be good since we are celebrating our anniversary.

YAAAY UPDATE!!! LOL what a day at epcot huh? Those flowers do look better then when I was there just 2 days before ya'll. So, today we hit double digits on our september trip, I'm sooooo happy!!! LOL Keep the updates coming, I'm loving them!!

Hey girlie, where have you been? I tell ya by this point we were just winging it. I am going to try and be more flexible for our September trip. I know Dale is going to have a hard time leaving Niko at home. Tyler and Amanda are going to take care of him while we are at Disney :rolleyes1.

I know you are very excited about being at double digits..............:woohoo::yay::dance3:

I just found your TR today and I recognized you from the Dis Meet! how cool is that! I am late arriving but love your report! So far, I am only on page 2 and saw where you had trouble getting the right amount back exchanging your tickets for APs. I read somewhere on here about how you can get the right amount back. Someone else had trouble exchanging them in and they only wanted to give her the $5.00 too. But apparently she argued long and hard, had a calculation of how she was right and they were wrong and ended up getting what she demanded! I guess if you argue for an hour or more, they cave!
Good report!

Thanks for coming over :lovestruc. I really enjoyed the Dis meet. It seems like everybody was really excited about going in May then we brought the rain :lmao:. I asked the girl 3 times about the cost and she gave me the receipt and explained that they charged for the AP first, then took the discount, then added the tax then took the amount already paid. By the time she got finished with the explanation I felt like I owed a $100 extra just for her effort....:rotfl2:. It is fine though, I was going to buy APs anyway and the discount would have been a little extra to spend in the parks, so Disney would have gotten the money one way or another.

Yeah, Disney gets our money one way or another. :rotfl: We got free meals so we gave the money back to Disney on presents for people back home and at work! We save so much on one trip, we have to go again!
BTW, I was the one standing next to you on your right in the picture at the Dis meet. Your son was in front of me. He was a sweetie!
I love your report! Reminds me how much fun it all was, even in the rain!

I know what you mean. I am saving up for the September trip because I know it will still cost a lot even with free dining. I LOVED the Orange Slushy from France and since they are $10.00 I will need to save more...........:lmao:

AWEEEEEEE thank you!! He is a sweet boy. He has a heart as big as Epcot!! He loves people as much as I. He is my Disney buddy :thumbsup2. I hope he doesn't outgrow it like my two oldest did.

Thank you about the report. I like to immortalize my Disney trips :lmao:.
