Hmmmm can I get two large tents on a Loop 100 site?

How big are the tents? I posted this pic on the other post. The back wheels of my camper are on the crushed shell tent pad. I thought there was room behind the pad for a 2nd tent. I found the second pic below of the back of the site. I'm standing next to the rear corner of my camper. You can just see the edge of the camper on the right. By comparing the 2 pics, I would say there is probably 10 ft of shell pad behind me.

There is probably another 8 ft or so behind the trailer. There is room behind the pad for a medium size tent, but I didn't remember the table size plant in the way. I think fitting 2 enormous tents won't work, but one big one on the pad and another moderate one next to or behind would work. If you don't mind one of them being on the drive, that would work too. It sounds like many people that tent camp use one for storage/cooking/eating and the other for sleeping. The storage tent would probably do better on the pavement.

How big are the tents?

16x16 will be our sleep tent, and the smaller one is .... I don't know. Ha! It's smaller than that though. That'll be used for cooking utensils, luggage, privacy to change, a place to stick a child mid-meltdown, etc.

So, smaller tent doesn't HAVE to fit directly on the pad. I just need it staked down securely.

Teamubr gave you some helpful advise there. We took 2 11X17 tents and they fit in the 1500 loop and would have on about 40% of the sites in that loop. I would say our tents and yours would fit on about 1/2 of them in the 2000 loop. I can't say for the 100 loop. Just wanted to throw that in there as an option. Staying in a pop-up/tent loop will save you about $20 (is it ?? i think) a night. If you go the pop up/tent loop, which is only the 1500 & 2000 loop and your have your ressie on a preferred loop, you will need to call and have them switch it (if available). At that time and I would call them no matter what, have them note the size of your tents.
