I agree, I drive from Miami to Orlando or Tampa every few months. For tampa I take the turnpike (because I hate I-75) to I-4 west.
The drive to Orlando from my house is sooooooo wonderful!! It's a 3-4 lane highway while you're in Ft. lauderdale but the minute you hit the West palm area it's 2 lanes and if you're not traveling on a holiday weekend the traffic will be very light during the non-rush hour times.
