Frustrated trying to buy tickets!

Dang it Disneyland.com work already!! For the past 3 days I have been trying to purchase two tickets to the parks. We bought gift cards from Sams Club to buy our tickets with. I've tried on my phone, on two different laptops and on three different browsers and get varying results. I get the best results with Safari, which allows me to get to the last part of the checkout process without before telling me there's an error.

What is going on with this website?

On a side note, if I can't get this to work, is there any other place I can buy (with gift cards) single day, single park tickets without having to wait at the ticket lines? I already called customer service and they can't email the tickets, they would send it to will call.... at the ticket booths.

I'm staying off site, and my flight doesn't get in until 11pm Thursday, and we are only going to be in Disneyland Friday.
 
I don't think one day park tickets are sold anywhere other than the Disneyland site and at the parks.
 
How many gift cards are you trying to enter? I believe there is a limit and you may need to combine your cards at disneygiftcard.com. I know I had to combine the ones I bought at Target in to two cards. And, then I had to do more than one transaction for my 4 tickets because I was over the max $$ amount. It really is not the most user friendly website.
 
It just occurred to me...is the problem possibly because of the new price structure for one day tickets?? The price changes on single day tickets. I don't even see an single day option on the website.

never mind! now see the single day option. it lets me get to the point I need to pay. I obviously can't do that, as I'm not entering payment info.

Yes, thankfully we did that before we even started trying, so the funds are already all on one card, and when using Safari it applies the gift card, and tells me that the funds are available. I just tried calling and explained what was happening and the lady just says "oh, we had a problem two days ago, maybe it's still happening" You'd think they would have a bit more information :/

Yeah, it makes me select the date, and I can get all the way through to the last screen, all I need to do is confirm, and then I get an error.
 
You might try ordering them one at a time. I had a heck of time ordering 5 APs over the last few weeks. I kept getting errors. But I found it was because I was ordering 4 tickets of one kind and 1 of the other. After I separated the order, it finally went through. You may try ordering them one at a time and see if that helps.
 
OP the exact same thing happened to me last week. I tried for 3 days to order 3 day tickets with no avail--I kept getting an error screen at the final stage. I called Disney and they were no help the first time and told me to try again the next day. I finally called back 2 days later and the CM this time ended up just processing the order over the phone and waiving the $5 shipping fee. I was trying to purchase with my DVA account.
 
Tried one ticket at a time, thinking that must be what it is. Nope! I would gladly do over the phone, but I'm going to the parks in two days :/

Can anyone buy tickets at the hotel front desk? I wanted to get these before Friday so I'm not wasting park time in line for tickets. I even tried the app, but it looks like the app doesn't take gift cards :/ I can't win!
 
Geez, Disney, get your act together!

I've never had a problem ordering the electronic tickets, but maybe I've just been lucky.
 
We had the same problem trying to buy tickets for WDW a few months ago. It was definitely an issue with Disney's website. We tried 2 different laptops and 3 different browsers. It would fail at some point along the way and never did allow us to purchase the tickets. We called Disney's tech support and they told us to just purchase them over the phone. We did that, and then couldn't link them to our account (need to do this at WDW or you can't make FP+). Had to call tech support again and they linked them. Bottom line: Disney's web pages are not working right a lot of the time and it's easier to just find another way to make your reservations/buy your tickets. Sorry you are having a similar problem. :(
 
If you can't get it done, just get to the esplanade EARLY. If possible, have the other party members in line while you get the tickets. What you do NOT want to do is to get there shortly before park opening or, gosh forbid, after opening time. Early early.
 
Ugh. We are having this issue now. Trying to buy tickets which are discounted through a corporate rate through Disney's website. I have $1000 in a Disney GC, and $125 on my Disney Visa. Let's me get all the way to the last step, but then keeps saying there is an error. WHAT. THE. HECK. This is making me very nervous, because I have nothing else to do with a $1000 gift card!
 
This has happened a few times to me. I ended up having to call and go through the whole speal but when I told them they were more then willing to sit on the phone and take any and all giftcards as payment.
 
I bought our tickets using an alumni discount link several weeks ago. I remember some kind of error during the process. I started over and think I got an error again. I think I just clicked reload at the top of my browser that time and then it continued to the next step.

Long story short I was successful getting my discounts at that price. However, it could have been a different kind of error and I was using a credit card as my payment method not a giftcard.

I want to say it was after I entered my payment method and because I remember being nervous about being charged and not getting my confirmation or a double charge showing up on my card, but everything worked out. For some reason I think I would have been even more nervous had it been a giftcard, but I don't know why...
 
My error also occurs on the last step, after I enter my payment information. Only no amount of reloading is helping, and neither is Disney. Which is beyond frustrating.
