Wow. Today was my 60 day window. Logged in at 7am. Started backwards... so booking Epcot 65 days out. It's my last 1/2 day at Disney. Flight out at 5pm.
There was already NO Frozen availability for the morning. Earliest I could get was 12:50. (will likely have to run to the Magical Express right after Frozen.... assuming they have the kinks worked out by then and it's not an hour line even with FP)

65 days out... thought I'd have my pick of times.
I did see a lot of afternoon availability, even at the 60 day mark.

This seems to be the trend. Not really sure why as for us I would prefer to head to World Showcase after it's all open at 11:00 but many are reporting the same thing you are and that FP ressies for AM are gone quickly. Hope you're able to fit it in!

I'm hearing they still aren't releasing fastpasses prior to 11 AM, so that would severely limit morning availability. The fact you saw several slots available in the afternoon is actually very encouraging to me. Sounds like making plans for a morning stop at FEA isn't the best idea if it can be avoided, especially if a person is hoping for a fastpass. I hope the timing works out for you, OP!

I flipped everything around, to do Frozen in the evening earlier in the trip, and Soarin last morning. So it should be safer now.

If they aren't making any Frozen fp available before 11, it may explain a lot. Those 11-1 slots are filling extremely quickly.

Hopefully they work out the kinks so that FPs are actual FPs, not just a ticket to ride sometime that day between the ride constantly being down.

With as unreliable as it has been so far, I think it makes sense to begin trying to ride it as soon as possible on a trip so you have more chances in case it doesn't work the first day. Hopefully it's working better in a couple months than it is right now!

we had fastpasses for Frozen last week at 9:30am, so they are there, but they just fill up. But what I did notice on a bunch of our FP was that if you book what looked to be the earliest time, went back in to modify more times even earlier showed up, you could keep doing that. people change all the time.

I think Josh at easywdw said he hasn't been seeing them before 11 after July 1. Maybe they initially opened FP's for the early hours but then quickly decided to keep FP availability to the hours after 11. :confused3

Maybe they did that to help the standby times, as the ropedrop rush has been so enormous.

That's why I changed it. Originally, I went in the other direction, simply because Soarin is a higher personal priority for me and my family. We'd like to do Frozen, but we would be more disappointed if we didn't get in Soarin. So I figured Soarin first, Frozen later.
But optimally, I'd like to do both. And I figure Soarin is still much easier to do at rope drop, or maybe EMH night (not getting FPs for that night).

oh, that could be very true, I guess I didn't think about that. Kind of makes sense, so then shrinking the 5hr wait time a bit.
