Is it worth it? We are going to Disney the last week of August. I have 2 girls (5 and 2.5) that LOVE Frozen. Trying to justify the price. Has anyone done it? Experiences?

I did it last summer and my twin girls (9 at time) were really into Frozen then. Was it worth the price... honestly, no. I wouldn't do it again. We did get a good reserved spot for the parade, but it seemed there were plenty of good spots anyway outside of the reserved area. The dessert party was good, but looking back, it seems really expensive for a couple of cupcakes and fruit dipped in chocolate. There were no seats for the party and we stood for two hours. You had to line up early even to get a table. My one daughter was exhausted and ended up sitting on the ground and wanted to leave before the fireworks. Last summer they didn't have a FP+ for the Frozen Sing-a-Long, so being able to reserve a show time seemed like a great perk. We really did enjoy the Sing-A-Long. Now that there is FP+, there doesn't seem to be a point to that. With the Frozen package, it seemed like we were always waiting around, i.e., checking in early for the parade and waiting maybe about 45 minutes in the hot sun for it to begin, checking in early for the dessert party and waiting around a long time for the fireworks to begin. It seems like that time could have been better spent on other things. Also, the price has gone up since last summer.

However, if this is your one extra and it would make your girls beyond happy, then maybe. I've booked a couple of extras for my upcoming summer trip and the worth it factor is really a personal decision.

We also did it last summer (family of 5, 3 girls ages 6, 7 and 11). Not sure I would do it again, but felt like it was worth it for the one time. The girls had front row, shaded seats for the parde, were escorted to the front of the stage for the little show, and they enjoyed the dessert party (though we all ended up sitting on the ground for at leas 30 minutes - would have loved to have had chairs). DH and I sampled both of the alcoholic drinks, and we ate/drank our moneys worth. As the PP said, the big bonus last summer was getting to choose which sing a long show you went to, and getting prime seating (we were in the second row). If that is part of the package again, it would save you from having to use a FP+ on it. We also found the lanyards to be neat souvenirs, and we may have broken even just by grabbing extra bottles of water at the parade -- they're part of the price, and as far as I could see, there was no limit on how many you could take.

We did it last August and are doing it again. It cost a lot more for is this year since older dd will be Turing 10 the week before. WE will be skipping the paraded and just going in a grabbing refreshments but the rest of it was worth it for us. I guess worth is kind of what is important to you. We go for 17 days and to me I would rather spend 1,000 on la nouba tickets and stuff like the frozen fun package vs upgrading our resort. My girls are a bit older 10 and 7. So I'm taking advantage of it while I can.
