Frozen sisters at rope drop lately?

It looks like wait times for Anna and Elsa are not as crazy as they once were. We will be there at the end of February and so far don't have FP+ to meet them. Anyone do rope drop to see them lately? How was it? We are usually there for rope drop but toward the back of the pack for the welcome show. Not staying on site so going on a non EMH day.

And I just noticed that MK is opening at 8am that morning (2/25) and it's not EMH. That's weird right? I don't see any other dates where they are doing that. Ugh, it will be hard to get there for rope drop in that case.

The line for A&E is typically posted at 30 minutes immediately at park open and lately has been peaking around 60 minutes throughout the day. Your comment on the 8am park opening is a good one though..."Ugh, it will be hard to get there for rope drop in that case." Everybody else might be saying that too...could be a great day to take advantage of! It likely would be your best bet but you'd need to figure out how to get to the park entrance by 7:30am.

We did an EMH morning and the characters were not available until their usual time.

If you don't like mornings they do stay open until a half hour before park close. On a recent visit we found a 10 minute actual wait (90 minute posted) just before they closed. We still had time afterwards to ride 7D twice before the park closed (55 minute posted wait).

That was a very efficient use of a half hour in my opinion and probably impossible in the morning.

It depends on the characters, those located indoors in line up styled locations, or those who are available at "park opening" will be available.

The girls aren't in the show, haven't been for ages, but either do the race and get there right away, or go during the 3pm parade, or during/right after the fireworks (if you watch from fantasyland) all are good options for minimal wait times

I think we will try and get there early. With a 1 and 3yo we can't stay late and usually don't last past 2pm!
