Frozen Singalong...

I'm not convinced of the value of the FP on this one. Tried it. Had to come earlier, got stuffed into this overcrowded section and sweated nearly to death and waited an eternity. Early stand by people basically filled in right next to us. Also the other times, we just sit on the nice picnic benches and camp out with a lovely breeze, get some refreshments, and then we watch the CM and when he unhooks the Stand By rope, we all charge. We still got wonderful seats and didn't have to stand and wait so long, with an FP. I'm not sure I would book it UNLESS your schedule is SO tight and the park is so busy that you must be guaranteed to hit THAT particular time or you would miss it, OR its a major peak holiday season and you might not get a seat. Otherwise, I'm not sure it's really warranted. The only exception to that being that we didn't have anything else to book (were with babies n non riders) so we booked Frozen Singalong as an FP because it was there. (And that's when we nearly all passed out prior to entering). It was shady but a million people were stuffed in there with almost no moving air... Not sure why it was like that that day, but sitting under the breezy umbrella waiting for the CM to open the SB line was much preferred to me....just my thoughts fyi. Again there are some cases where it is warranted, but its certainly not necessary if it's not a peak time (If there is another ride you like better)...

We went to this last fall. My 9 year old niece, right up to my 88 year old mom. (My mom, BTW says she 'hates' cartoons.)
We had FP+ a wheelchair and were in the front row. I didn't have high expectations, but we were all blown away - including my mom, who loved it! Even though she hates cartoons!

At one point everyone was singing and I looked over at the little girl next to me, singing her tiny heart out, and all of a sudden I was just so choked up - it was really a magical moment. That sweet little girl, the characters right in front of us, the laughs and the special effects - just perfect.

Well worth a FP+ IMHO, and just check out Elsa at the end!IMG_9464.JPG

Anna is there quite a bit, Elsa and Kristof also make appearances. A pair of royal historians retell the story of Frozen, with hilarious inaccuracies, while the audience waits for Elsa to appear. Along the way we get to sing a bunch of songs. The style of humour is basically slapstick.

My husband and I saw it twice on our last trip. It's not just for little kids. There's plenty of humour for the grownups and each show is ever so slightly different.

We loved it, though my husband was initially reluctant to sing, being as we were surrounded by little girls in princess dresses. He was completely into it by the second show, though!

We are SO seeing this again in December!

That said, I would not recommend it if you have issues with flashing lights, loud noises, little girls screaming in your ear, or goofy humour.

Exactly how flashy are the lights? Unfortunately that is one of my migraine triggers. It sounds like a blast but I don't want to lose a day to a migraine.

They're not strobing or anything, more like firecrackers or bright flashes. I'm prone to migraines, plus I have terrible eyes, and I didn't notice any eye strain. I think the poor woman sitting next to me who appeared to be in so much pain had a migraine before the show even started.
