Can someone tell me if fast passes are necessary for this show? My guess is no, since there are so many show times but my brother-in-law is insisting on it so his daughters don't miss it. I would put the the fast pass toward something else so before I do that for him I want to make sure it will work out. He is at Disney during the first week of April when it's busy so I don't know if that will affect the fast pass choice. Thanks for the advice.

Not a bad idea, but then there's a dearth of good FP options in this park. More info can be found in the green link in my signature.

When I went in September 2014 it was necessary you weren't getting in with out one.

Here's my experience from last week They let the FP+ line and the standby line in at the same time, with the standby people going in the rear door and the FP+ people going in the front. Because we got in line towards the end of our FP+ window, we ended up having a seat off to the side with a big pillar in our way. Standby people that got in line around the same time we did had center seats slightly further back in the theater. Given when we got in line and how they load the theater, we probably would have had better seats with the same wait time in the standby section. All that said, I overheard a cast member explaining to a complaining FP+ guest that all the FP+ does is guarantee a seat, it doesn't guarantee a good seat. So if you are there during a busier time, it might be needed.

this is true. If you have FP and you get there before the window expires, you will get into the theater. If it's busy and the theater fills up, then standby has to wait in line longer to get nearer the front of that line, or may not get in at all. There's no designated seating though, all it does is get you into the theater provided you arrive on time.

does anyone know how long this will be offered? We are going late August and my daughter would love it. I haven't seen any info on how long this show will stick around.

Actually, in our experience FP+ does not even guarantee you a seat, it only guarantees that you will be allowed in the theatre even if you have to stand. We did this in October without FP+. About 15 minutes before the show, they let the FP+ line in, immediately followed by the standby line. Being standby, we got center seats in the front row of the back bleachers which we liked. I think I preferred that to some of the far side seats down front the FP+ people got (this was back when front and center was reserved for the frozen premium package people- isn't that over now?). After the lines were let in, FP+ people continued to show up. The theatre filled, and after that they continued to let people in who had FP+, but those people had to stand up down the side of the theatre for the whole 20 minute show. We saw a few who definitely were not happy about that since they had blown a FP+ on it. So the moral is that if you do FP+ it, you still need to be there 20 minutes early. As far as your BIL, whether FP+ is necessary depends on where you want to sit, and whether you want to take the risk of having to return for a later show if the one you originally tried to go to fills up. The standby people generally will be sitting towards the back. We were fine with that, but if you want a close up front seat, you should do FP+ and get there early.

I am also wondering how long it will be there for... I know they have closed down a few things Frozen related at HS already. My daughter would love it in September.

The last official word from Disney is "indefinitely". So, probably for a while yet but no one really knows. It probably isn't going anywhere as long as it remains popular and doesn't interfere with future (unknown) development in Streets of America.

Idk if anything has changed since I went last September, but we got a return ticket for the showtime we wanted as soon as we got to the park and had no problem getting in... We were sat farther back than the people with a FP+, but I still thought the bleacher seats had a great view.

They aren't doing return tickets anymore. You either have FP or you stand in the standby line. They might bring back return tickets if it gets really busy.

interested in this as well, we will be there end of April and this is on my DS3 "must do" list.

It will almost certainly be there in April.

Apparently it is not going away anytime soon. That said we know nothing about whether any construction will be eventually done in that area.

FP+ is worth it if it is a must see.

We went to a late afternoon show in mid November, on a low-medium crowd day. We did SB, went over 15 minutes before. We were near the last guests let in. There were easily 100 guests behind us did not make it in. Since it's Tier 2, no brainer for me. Get the FP+.

We went in Sept 2014. While we really enjoyed the show, it felt like a waste of a fast pass because we arrived toward the end of our window and they had already let the standby people in. We got seats WAY off to one side.

not to get too much off the topic but we are planning on getting FPs to this show bc its on my kids must do list. Anyways I will be in a scooter bc I have ankle issues. So my question is how will having a FP plus being in a scooter effect our seating options? Where are the handicap seats?

We are going Easter week and were able to book FP for it, so it'll still be there in the beginning of April!

FP+ handicap & scooter seating are front few rows - awesome!!!! If you can exit your scooter and walk a few feet they will ask you to do so but still front rows.

Thanks! Do you think I should still get a FP for this attraction? I am trying to decide which places I should get FPs for at Hollywood Studios. I have never done Hollywood Studios in an ECV before so its a little weird. We normally get FPs for Disney Junior Live on Stage, The Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and Toy Story Mania. I think I will do stand by for the Disney Junior Show though bc if I remember correctly everyone just sits on the floor so with an ECV I am assuming the ECV seating will be in the back. So Now I think I will do Toy Story Mania, Little Mermaid, and the Sing A Long. Not sure if there is anything else I should be considering with Fast Passes though. I have 2 kids (20 months and 8 years old) so TOT and RnR are out. But show wise am I missing anything?
