I have some frozen pot stickers in my freezer. I've lost the cooking instructions....they are frozen into plastic trays and I believe they have a coating of oil on them. Has anyone ever had these? How do I prepare them? I think I bought them at Sam's Club.....

Thanks!

Yes! My family loves these.

You just remove the pot stickers (with the ice with it) and put it in a skillet which has been pre-heated over medium heat (no need for oil, b/c it's already in the ice). You basically just leave them like that until all the ice has melted away and the bottoms are brown. Soooo easy!

Oh, and just leave the packet of dipping sauce out while you cook the pot stickers and it will thaw in time for serving.

Enjoy!

:moped: (my son had to pick a smilie!)

I have had lots of problems cooking unthawed dumplings or other stuff on the stove. The outside gets burned while the inside is still cold. But I get good results using the microwave with a medium setting. Run it for a few minutes, feel it to see if it is hot, then run it again for a few more minutes if needed, etc.

Thank you! They cooked up perfectly and the plate was empty by the end of the party. They were a hit!

Who knew that something just taking up space in my freezer would be so popular?!
