Frozen Holiday Premium Package at HS

I'm kind of evaluating what you get because I enjoyed the Star Wars package. But I don't want or need a reserved seat for the singalong, and a reserved space for Osborne Lights doesn't sound either awesome or necessary. so I'm down to the booze party, which sounds like it will actually be AT the Osborne Lights. That's sort of awesome but probably not $90 worth of awesome. and Frozen's OK but I'm not collecting Frozen stuff or anything.

I seems a bit high to me especially since FP+ are available for the Sing Along on the day that we would be visiting HS. I went through the options just see what was available and they had a 7pm availability for the event but it ended up being $237 for 3 people. Im not sure it's worth it. Something to think about though. Im guessing there is a 1 per person limit on the booze though lol.

Yeah I can't see this being worth it either - UNLESS there's going to be seating for the Osborne Lights. I could see sitting at a table, drinking and eating cake while watching several sets of the Osborne light shows. But standing and only getting one fixed view of the display? Naah.

Doubtful. They offered booze at the Summer Frozen Premium package and it was all you can drink. And it was potent mixes too. They did not skimp on the alcohol at all.

This is the way I'm leaning. They only gave standing tables for the Summer version. I suspect this will be the same. I'd rather walk through the Light display than be stationary. Though I do admit that having a nice spot to watch the actual lighting is appealing. But not $200 appealing.

ETA - In reading the fine print it says
Seating will be available at the dessert party and in the Premiere Theater.

So maybe?

ITA with this, as evidenced by the hangovers we were sporting the next day. HEY! We wanted to get our money's worth!

As I stated in the other thread about it, I think this is a total ripoff for the price point and what you get.

Does anyone think this means no soirée at MK in the castle?

Actually I think this might be character violation (more than one appearance of a character at the parks simultaneously)

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” show time, which take place from 10:25 AM to 6:00 PM.

The new Frozen Holiday Wishes castle lighting starts at 6:15... I don't see how Elsa can be singing and lighting the castle at the same time. ;)

That happens all the time. To name a few

Belle is telling stories at her attraction at MK while she's greeting guests at Askerhus and at the same time she's greeting guests in France

Ariel is greeting guests in her Grotto in MK at the same time she's telling her story at HS

Jasmine and Aladdin can be found hanging out in Adventure Land at the same time they are greeting guests in Morocco

First, these two events take place at different parks...the castle lighting is at MK, the singalong is at DHS. Second, "character violations" (as you call them) take place all the time. All the CRT princesses (Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora, Jasmine, and Snow White) all meet there and at various locations around the MK. Additionally, most of them appear in the parade, along with A&E. It's the same with most of the Akershus princesses at Epcot. And I can guarantee that Elsa M&Gs at MK are not going to be paused while she's busy lighting the castle every night.

I just saw this come up on my FB feed and booked it for me and DD(8) for Christmas Eve. It looks fun, DD loves Frozen, and they're throwing alcohol at me, so sounds awesome, lol! I like doing special things that are a bit different. This is probably around my 70th visit to the World, so we are always looking for new experiences.

Hmm, can't see what you're getting with this one.

Osborne Lights: Can do that with regular ticket
Sing-A-Long: Can do that with regular ticket
Desserts and alcohol: I guess

Seems steep. I find these Frozen events fascinating. I would think they would be a big draw for families with kids, but then they throw the alcohol in and make the price so steep. Compared to the dessert party at MK which is much more reasonably priced and you get a seat and a table. $59 dollars for a kid to eat dessert?

With the way Disney likes changes what if the osborne lightts were limited to this event during these times?

I have kids, gladly paid for the Frozen Premium package this summer, and even I think this is absolutely ridiculous. Charging people for things that they get for "free" with their park admission is insane. There is no way an average child can eat $59 worth of those desserts, which are really nothing to write home about anyway.

I'd say this is extraordinarily unlikely. There's no way that they're blocking off that much of DHS just because they're now offering a premium package. I'm not even sure how they would manage the logistics of doing so.

Can anybody tell if you get a refund if you buy a ticket to this and subsequently cancel? I'm on the fence about it and I don't want to lock in $300 on an event I ultimately decide that I don't want to do.

I just booked this for myself and the confirmation stated there is a 1 day cancellation policy. Also, you must pay in full at time of booking.
