Frozen Ever After (RUMOR) started by Disney's MDE

Actually I know of one ride that has inversions and no shoulder harnesses...Rip-Ride Rock-It at Universal. Honestly, when I first rode it and saw the lap-bar thing it uses, I was a little nervous! Awesome ride though.
Rip Ride Rock it actually has 0 inversions.

It looks like it but it doesn't go completely upside down

Yeah...I never actually realized that before. I only rode it for the first time on my last trip there. I'd seen it but it was always out of service. I couldn't tell you which was was up by the end of it. The restraint system makes more sense now though. I'm thin and that thing barely made contact with me!

When a ride has drop-down shoulder harnesses, there has to be a height requirement so that the harness fits properly. And anytime an attraction has one or more inversions, there have to be shoulder harnesses.

So given the inversions on the Frozen ride, I would expect it to have harnesses and therefore have a height requirement.

Hey. If this is going to be a thread about rumors, we may as well make the rumors good ones, right?? :goodvibes;) Anna will be upside down!!

latest
The Scorpion at Busch Gardens Tampa has a single inversion and no shoulder restraint.

I seen it with no height. obviously just working things out.

How's this for a RUMOR?, started by Disney indirectly.

Frozen Ever After has been showing on MDE and so far it is showing Height Restrictions.

I just took this photo on MDE app and link goes to article about it.

Hopefully a glitch but ..... maybe a way to send smaller folk to M&G and lessen lines for ride.....:rolleyes1

This should make the $24 meals at BOG become old news.

I don't believe Disney's H1B IT replacements have ever heard of a test environment.

The new frozen ride is the exact same track as what Maelstrom was so there won't be any shoulder restraints, but will be a slow boat ride through the different scenes in Frozen ending at Elsa's ice palace and "let it go" playing

I know it's from Wikipedia which isn't always 100% but I've definately read it on other websites so height requirements shouldn't be a huge issue :thumbsup2

There will be a lot of disappointed little ones if it's a 40" height requirement. It would be a shame because it's the little kids who like Frozen. Once the kids hit 2nd grade, it's cool to not like Frozen.

Yeah, making it a big ticket thrill ride would have been excluding the very target audience of the movie it's based on.

MDE now reads "No Height Restrictions."

This sounds much more realistic.

There's plenty of time for them to fix it...It says 'Coming Soon'.

When it says 'Coming very soon', I'm guessing there's still 2-3 months to go...at least based on similar statements when RoL info was provided...:rolleyes2:rolleyes2:rolleyes2:rolleyes2:rolleyes2:rolleyes2

RoL is a unique situation.

Okay .... it was kinda a tongue in cheek thread due to all the craziness of the "upcoming" attractions being all over the place. Obviously it was a glitch.
