Frozen Ever After LIVE reports!

Its new and will be here for a long time...did anyone see an easter egg? wondering if there is a random Viking or troll (not the rock trolls) from the Malestrom? i.e. Mr Toad handing the deed to Owl picture in the many adventures of Winnie the pooh ride formerly Mr Toad's wild ride...

Not in the ride per se, but Mad Chatters posted this photo the other day of a tapestry inside Royal Sommerhus with a nod to the Maelstrom trolls.

We were about to do that (no show) they were so disorganized! The ride was special and we rode with many imagineers etc. it was a special moment to see them so excited. I hate to hear there are issues now. I would stick to breakfast or save it for next trip I'm a frequent guest but have never seen a line like that (at Disney or the olymics or anywhere).

Be safe and have fun!

Wow, just watched the video. So happy I decided to use our Tier 1 FP on this over Soarin. We'll be there in exactly 1 month and my DDs are going to love this!

I just saw a periscope broadcast where someone said the FP line is so long they've closed standby.

Wow. I wonder if this is because they distributed too many Fastpasses or maybe because the ride has been up and down today?

I don't understand why Disney built a ride with such a HUGE following (knowing full well it would be a massive attractor for park goers) with such a low capacity. They should have gutted the boat track and installed an omnimover or something.

BTW, I would totally pay the no-show fee to get on without wasting a FP....but it's only 2 of us.

Exactly... it does get good reviews and we haven't been there yet though, so its going to come down to what time we make it over there and if they are disorganized or not. We don't eat a ton, so I tend to avoid buffets usually. I know we'd be able to eat and get out in time under normal circumstances.

I have 8:05 am reservations at Askershus July 22nd. I was hoping to slip in the line right at rope drop hoping for a shorter wait. Is that not going to be the case based on what happened today? o_O

We have an 8:05 ADR too. Hopefully we'll have some feedback about this soon. I'm concerned about the masses flooding into Norway at 8:30 am. This would defeat the whole purpose of the early breakfast.

Watched the video... the line looks great (though it is not that different from the Maelstrom exit), the ride has a great start, anticipation builds, don't really understand how we got into the castle by going under it (that portion looks completely undecorated) but then the climax was great!!!!! But the ride kept going .... and Olaf skating???? Did the video not pan around enough or was that set not finished??? I feel like they climaxed too early and then added stuff to the end to fill in.... it should have ended at exiting the castle.... and there should have been more of a journey to get to the castle.... and since it is a celebration, I wish the people of arendale were there...

Yup. That's what those of us "haters" have been saying from the start. Even Maelstrom had overinflated wait times thanks to capacity and FP, and then stick a by most accounts very well done attraction based around an extremely popular movie into there?

They must have no other empty spaces in Epcot ;)

I apologize if this is already addressed earlier in this post, but how long are people waiting in the fastpass line? I saw the comment that the line extended to China, and I am wondering what that translates into in terms of time spent waiting to ride the ride? Thanks!

We went on around 10:20 this morning. I like Frozen, mostly did it for my niece. The que was well done, and nice. Really the whole area is nice. I was actually more impressed by it then I thought I would but I wouldn't wait in a 2 hour + line for it. In the plus side my sister and her family got through the M&G in 30 min.

Probably a good 90 minutes to two hours, it's only that far back because the ride has been down several times (and the last breakdown is going over an hour and counting) They have shut down the regular standby line. If it reopens today, it'll just be fast pass folks and anyone who got in the standby line before they shut it off.

Repost from this morning for the afternoon crowd:

"Others have said it is opening, but tech issues will have it down for periods of time."
