Frozen Ever After LIVE reports!

I've been here all day and it's been temporarily closed for at least an hour maybe longer. We have fast passes for tomorrow so didn't even attempt standby this morning.

Wait, they did rope drop at 8:30 and held everyone at Mexico... so is there even a point to PPO a breakfast? I'm guessing not.. we'd be behind everyone. :(

This is what I'd like to know too. Anyone?

I think it looks great and I wasn't particularly even interested in it! It looks a bit nostalgic somehow, like a classic Disney dark ride.

I'm getting the Peter Pan's Flight "feels" from the video and that's a good thing!

This looks great! My boys will be so excited. Definitely curious about rope drop and touring patterns once things calm down a bit. I have a PPO Akershus reserved just in case, but was already questioning it since I don't want to rush them through breakfast and potentially miss a princess. If the PPO guests will be behind the rope drop crowd at Mexico even if they speed through the meal, it's not really much of an advantage. We'll have 1 day at Epcot, and can only get our FP+ reservations made at 7 days, so this may be interesting with 3 high profile must-do attractions (FEA, Soarin', and A & E meet and greet) and twin four-year-olds!

If the ride is evena fraction of Shanghai's amazing pirates or Hong Kongs Mystic Manor then I'll be a happy camper. I have zero affinity for Frozen (weakest Disney movie IMO) but I'm down with a technologicallyamazing ride.

Wow! I just watched Shanghai's Pirates on YouTube. That looks amazing!

Dumb question- how is the hill? I never rode Maelstrom and I don't trust my husband (TOT is a little drop, barely feel it). I like POC, SDMT. I have FP next month.

I'm grateful to watch the video, satisfying my curiosity. But I kind of feel bad for the people just trying to experience a new dark ride, and having all those bright phone screens in their field of vision, ruining the illusion.
EXACTLY. I have yelled at people on PotC for taking flash photos (literally 20 seconds after the cast member said "no flash photos") and for a loud ongoing phone conversation during the ride. I would hate to see what I will say or do if there are phones/tablets being held up to videotape the ride.

I have 8:05 am reservations at Askershus July 22nd. I was hoping to slip in the line right at rope drop hoping for a shorter wait. Is that not going to be the case based on what happened today? o_O

Maybe the are not cute but Disney has a huge opportunity to use AAs to bring not only the Na'vi but a bunch of mythical creatures to life.

Opportunity being the key word. I really hope that they are seizing the opportunity. A day at Universal staring at screens can be very tedious.
