Has anybody heard about special seating and frozen treats during the holiday season for the Osbourne light show?

Thanks Michael, nothing that I didn't see before. Looking for more concrete info.

People have reported booking it. I don't get it myself - virtually all of it are things that are already included in admission. I'd just go buy my own pin and drinks and walk around Osborne lights with my extra $78 in my pocket.

Looks like it includes reserved seating for the Osbourne Lights lighting ceremony. During the busy times, that could really be worth it.

For a singular show I might agree. But the Osbourne Lights are on for a few hours and the only way to see it all is to walk around so personally I see the seat as being limiting and not needed. Just something for Disney to throw in to add a perceived value and increase the price. :confused3

My take on it is $30 per cupcake and $20 for the pin....everything else they are quoting is FREE. And I agree the summer booking for $59 gave you premier seating for parade and fireworks (with desserts), for $30 less! Almost as ridiculous as the villain dessert party during MNSSHP...no value.

I initially booked it for my upcoming solo trip because it sounded different and interesting; it's not as painful when it is only for one person. But the more I read on here and thought about it, it just didn't make sense for me either from a financial standpoint or enjoyment factor. While there are lots of things I enjoy doing solo at WDW, this event would probably be more fun with my family . . . and I would never pay that for all of us. :goodvibes So I cancelled it. I'm gonna be really bummed if everyone says it is unbelievable [in a good way] and it's all booked. :headache:

There is the lithograph that is somewhat appealing to me. Right now we are trying to move to FL. We are trying to sell our OH house, and I have at least 3 wonderful lithographs ( from special DCL cruises) waiting to be framed. I do not need another "thing!"
BUT
Years ago, AP holders got a "Dumbo flying with Christmas lights" litho for free, and I love mine. Then somehow DVC gave out Christmasy lithos, Mickey and group by a fireplace, homey. It may have come from watching a sales presentation on the Internet. Yes, I would like another Disney holiday litho, but not at that price.

Just priced it and for our family of 3 on Dec 26 it's $237 :scared:. At that price I guess I am going to have to let it go (lol)

So, I found out a friend is going and will have multiple lithos, so, I'll get one after all! I am blessed!

We are leaning toward the Polk County area, but DeLand is an area I just cannot rule out. Enjoy your search for just the right area!
