Frontier Airlines?

Our trip is coming up at the end of April. We have been set to drivent from here (NJ) to Disney. However, I found very affordable airfare with Frontier Airlines. But I don't knowant anything about them. Anyone have experience with this airline? TIA!

My parents have flown from Trenton, NJ to Florida twice times. No issues. You MUST make you you do online check-in a day in advance. You also MUST be completely checked-in and past security 45 minutes before the flight, or they will not let you board. My friend had an issue and got there at 8am for a 8:30am flight and they turned them away in Trenton. Also, it is cheaper to pay for your bags in advance. Except for a personal bag that can fit underneath the seat, they charge for carry-on bags. Overall they had no issues and was cheap! The Trenton Airport is super small and easy. I have looked at them a few times, but they only fly certain days to certain cities. Also, don't except treats for free. It is no-frills, but definitely cheap with their sales!

Do a search of this board; Frontier has been discussed many times. Big issues for me are they have no interline agreements and limited flights. If there is an issue with your (for example), once a day flight from your airport, it may be a while before you can be rebooked.

In Jan a week before my trip they canceled my return flight.. Found out they decided not to fly to Cle on Tues which was the only flight that day.

As lostincyberspace said, search the boards -- many discussions, but...

Used to fly them all the time. Then they went to the ultralowcost model. Major decline in customer service, surly workers, nickel&dime....but if you want an ultra low cost flight and are willing to put up with the S$@($RQE$*(&*^, well you get what you pay for....maybe.

Thanks everyone! We decide not to go with Frontier due to bad reviews and all the additional fees! I actually found a great deal with US Airways!!
