I'm so disappointed with SW airlines--their fares continue to go up so I'm thinking of flying Frontier for the First time. Anyone joined the Discount Den for Frontier? what do you think of it? do they ever add more flights if they are Sold out? Anything you can tell me will help. We are flying out of Denver, Co in Sept.
Thanks

I don't have a ton of experience but have flown Frontier twice now out of Trenton. They had a tremendous number of complaints online so I was nervous about it but so far have had no issues. And around here people seem to love them so I wonder if certain airports may be better than others.

I did join the Discount Den for my trip last week. It paid for itself just in that one purchase and I was able to purchase RT tickets to Orlando for 2 people at a total of $115 (paid to pick seats but no baggage). Really that cannot be beat around here and most other airlines started over $225 each so we saved well over $300. For us, I also know I'll be looking to fly with Frontier at least one or two more times in the next year so it was worth having the club membership.

As for adding flights that I'm not sure about. I am a little bummed to see that for our local airport they are only flying in the evening in April/May so I might end up heading to Philly for our next trip. It's a little more of a pain but they have 3 flights a day.

What I did with our club membership was waited until I booked flights to purchase. In October they had great rates without it so I didn't use it but this time they had the $15 fare special and public price was another $40 each RT so it was a no brainer to go ahead and buy it since it cost $50 and saved us $80. I'd just pay attention because sometimes the public rate is just as good or no Club Den seats are available.

Thanks so much, We will also be taking several trips in the coming year, so I know we will save money. SW used to be our favorite, they used to have great prices but have in the last year went up so much. We cheapest with SW for one way $200.00 per person, $400.00 RT. We have 3 adults (DS 20 yrs.) with Frontier I priced at Reg. price without Discount Den for less than $200.00 RT and we only pack one bag per person, so even with that add expense we save close to $200.00 per person.

So you can purchase the Discount Den just before buying tickets? How long before or can you do it on the same day?

I actually purchased them as I was purchasing my tickets. I tried to do it beforehand just to have ready to go because I knew I was purchasing that day and couldn't find a way to do it. So I went in to do the actual purchase and after picking my flights and choosing Den prices a window popped up asking me if I wanted to save by doing Club Den and I clicked yes or whatever the response was. So I paid for it with my first set of tickets.
