I understand the general concept. If you stay on-site. You go to the front of the line. But, my question is more of how does it work in reality? Is their a line similar to a fast pass line at Disney? Also, their are 3 hotels on property with a ton of guests. Won't these front of line lines get very long if its a busy time. Thanks!!

I've been to Universal several times during July 4th ---VERY BUSY!! With my on site hotel key, we never had any long waits. The longest was 20 minutes and that was unusual.Just show your key and go in the express line.

Yea, there is an Express Line for every attraction (except Pteranadon Flyers) and you show your room key and you can go through the line unlimited amounts of times.

The Team Member may check the dates on the card to make sure they're valid, but that's all.

Am I correct in understanding that if you "check in" very early at the hotel for the day (even though you can't get in room yet), that you have all that first day and until midnight the next day to have the FTOL access to rides.
So you could stay only one night and have FTOL rights for actually two days at the parks???

We will be staying at WDW earlier in the week, but would like to switch over for a Friday/Saturday or possibly both.

That is correct. You can check in early and get room keys for your FOTL access even if your room is not ready. THen after you check out the next day, you keep your key and use it all day that day too.
