Front end alignment for my car. What's an average price??

I have a 1997 Mercury Sable. I was quoted about $70 for a front end alignment. Is that a decent price? I live on the south shore of Massachusetts, not exactly a low cost-of-living area

I have an appt to take my car tomorrow morning at 8am, but DH seems to think $70 is way too much. Help!

Thanks for anyone who might be able to give me an idea!

i know nothing about cars, but i think we paid $50 for that here.

Lady M has had a number of Sables, Terry. Four wheel alignment is really needed on it. $70 sounds fine to me.
